Chapter 19

Stella's P.O.V. (surprise!)

I watched as my son ran after his mate. I look up at Kaiden. "You think he will catch her?" I ask my mate. He laughs. "I believe he will." He says, leaning down to kiss me. The party goes on as we wait for them to come back. That is, until everyone hears Logan's voice through the mind link. Help! It's Peter. He has us! Everyone goes silent at this. Kaiden growls, braking the silence. "I want every pack fighter out there now! Go!" He yells. Everyone scatters. My children, as well as Alec, Lacken, Jamie, Aria, Sam, and Logan's friend, all follow Kaiden and I to his office. It's packed but we make it work. "We need to call for help." Kaiden says, picking up his phone. "Wait! We can call our packs." Logan's friend, Liam, says. I look at Kaiden and he looks at me. We both nod and the 3 boys all pull out their phone and leave the room. "I want to be on a search team." Ariel says. Dakota growls. "You're not doing any such thing." I smile as my son protects his mate. She glares at him but doesn't argue. I walk over to her. "You, me and the other girls will stay and look after the pack. They will be very worried." I tell her. She nods and I see my son giving me a thankful look. The boys come back in. "Our Alphas are on their way." Aiden says, going to stand beside Jasmine. I had noticed him getting close to my daughter. When I asked Logan he told me they were mates. I was shocked but I didn't mind it. He seemed like a good boy. I look over and see Luke holding Kat (to the side). I walk over to them. "He isn't going to hurt you again Kat." Luke is saying in a soft voice. He looks at me with a gentle smile before looking at her again. She looks at me. "Mom.. what if.." I growl, making her stop. "He is not coming after you. He won't touch you." I tell her. "That's right. Because I am having some of our strongest stay behind to protect you all." Kaiden says from behind me. I turn and give him a soft smile. He puts an arm around me protectively. "He won't touch either of you again." He says. I nod and Kat stands to hug him. She seems more scared than she should be. Now that I think about it, she had never told us what they did to her all those year ago. I would have to ask her. "I never thought my brother would come back." I hear Lacken's voice beside me. "Wait what? You are related to this guy?" Zach asks in disbelief. Lacken just nods with a sad smile. Nobody says anything else. Kaiden is on the phone yelling at pack members. I sit in my usual chair in Kaiden's office. I wonder what he is doing to my son and his mate. I look up as two people walk into the room. It's Kendall's parents. I stand and walk over to them. "Is it true? The man who attacked me took my daughter?" Her father asks. "Yes, he also took my son, who is your daughter's mate." I tell him calmly. "What are we going to do about this?" Her mother asks with fear in her eyes. "We've already got 3 packs willing to help us. We search until we find them, and when we do. We attack." I tell them. They nod slowly but I knew they were still terrified for their daughter. It had me worried about what Peter might do to the 18 year old girl. I turn and see Luke speaking quietly to Kat. I walk over to them. "Come to my room. We need to talk." I say, turning and walking out of the office. I tell Kaiden through the mind link where I'm going before heading up. When Kat and Luke enter I already have 3 chairs pulled together. "You need to tell me what they did to you Kat." I say in a serious tone as they both sit. Kat's eyes go worried. "Mom.. I don't like talking about it..." She says quietly. "I don't care at the moment Kat. There is another girl he captured. I need to know what he might do to her." I say. She looks at Luke and he nods. She lets out a small sigh before she begins telling me everything Peter and Titus had done to her. How Titus would beat her, and how Peter raped her. "Why did you never tell me this? We could have gotten the council involved with this Kat. Had him killed for this." I tell her. She begins to cry. I sigh. I couldn't believe Peter had done this to her. She had to of been scared for life, and she never even told me what happened. "We need to tell your father." I tell her with a soft smile. She nods. I let them leave and I pull out my phone.

It's been 2 weeks. We finally think we have found the place they are hiding them. Its a relief but also a very big worrying mess. Logan's friends had their packs finally here. Turned out to be our friends. Jared and Eve were Liam's Alphas, while Steven and Iris were Aiden's. They were shocked to learn we were after Peter again. I had talked to Eve and Iris and turns out both of them had children who were around the same ages as my boys. Things had gotten crazy when we learned that Logan's last friend, Jack, was from Tate's pack. Kaiden wasn't happy but took the help in order to find our son. Kat and Luke stayed far away. The thing I found strange was that Titus had told us Peter found his mate not long after we saved Kat. That he had a son. I was more confused than ever before by learning this. Why did Peter want my son and his mate when he had a mate now. Titus had also found his mate. She was a lot like me surprisingly. Her name was Sabrina.

Kaiden runs into the house with Jared, Steven, and Titus. "We found them!" He calls through the house and the mind link. I jump to my feet. "Where?" I ask. He shakes his head. I frown. He won't tell me because he doesn't want me there. "He has a pack of rouges. I can't put you in that situation." He tells me. I growl but say nothing. I watch as he starts giving orders to everyone. I sit back down with Iris, Eve, and Sabrina. They all give me reassuring smiles. Kaiden walks over to me. "I will get our son back." He tells me. I nod. "Kill that son of a bitch." I growl. He smiles and nods before turning to everyone and leading them out.
