Chapter 14

We get to the place where the party is and see a huge line. Liam however smirks and pulls out 4 passes. We walk up to the front and show the guards the special passes. They let us in without question. "So how did you get those?" I ask as I look around. "I have my ways." He smirks. I roll my eyes and look around the large room we were now in. There are way to many people. "Well I am going to go flirt with some hot ladies. You guys do whatever guys with mates do." Aiden laughs before walking away from us. I roll my eyes and look at the others, only to see them walking in separate directions. I walk over to the bar and ask for a soda. "No alcohol for a hot guy like you?" I turn and see a short, red haired girl smiling at me. I shake my head. "I don't drink." I say with a shrug. The guy comes back with my soda and I take it. He looks at the girl. "Can I help you with something miss?" He is staring at her chest as he says this. I roll my eyes. What a pig. "Only to leave me alone with this fine man." I look at her to see she is staring right at me. Great. The man huffs and walks away to help someone else. I look the girl up and down. She is wearing very tight shorts and a very small shirt and makes her breasts pop out. I look away in disgust. Kendall would never dress like that. "So what's your name?" She places a hand on my arm. "Logan." I say. I can tell she is human so its not like I can tell her I have a mate. I cant tell her I have a girlfriend either because that would be lying. Ugh I hate this! "Oh, I'm Jenny." She says and leans towards me.

Get this slut away from us Logan!

Kai growls at me. I sigh.

Its not that easy Kai, she's human.

I don't care! The only woman I want this close is Kendall!

I know I know. Calm down I will figure this out.

I bloke Kai. "So you from around here?" She asks in a, trying to be seductive voice. I shake my head. "Nope, I'm here for the early college admission." I tell her, not looking at her. She does an annoying giggle and loops her arms around my arm. I feel Kai trying to surface but I push him back. I stand and get ready to walk away when she stands as well and practically falls into me. I growl but she doesn't notice. I step away from her. She is laughing and that's when I smell the alcohol on her breath. I help her sit down. "You should have someone take you home." I tell her. "Can't I go home with you?" She asks in an annoying voice. "No, you cant." I call the bartender over and ask him to call her a taxi. He does so and then helps me get the girl out to the car. When she's gone I go back inside and find a place to sit. I pull my phone out and see a text from Kendall.

How is London?

I smile and reply.

It's alright. The classes aren't hard. I'm at a party now and this girl was trying to flirt with me. She was dressed like a slut and was all over me.

I send back.

Ew! Did she leave?

Yes, finally! She was so drunk. I knew there had to be something wrong if she was flirting with me.

I wait for her reply. As I wait I look up and see Aiden dancing with some girl. I roll my eyes and look back to my phone as it goes off.

It's no wonder she was flirting with you. You're a good looking guy Logan.

I feel myself smile at the text. She thought I was good looking. I smirk and quickly type out a message to her in return.

Is Kendall saying she has a crush on me? Wow, didn't see that one coming! ;P

I sent the text and wait for her to reply. Liam comes up and sits across from me. "You look happy about something." He says. I laugh and show him the texts. He smirks. "You got a reply dude." I quickly turn my phone and look at it.

Maybe I do, but I'll find my mate soon, you will be nothing more than the friend I once adored;)

I jump to my feet and Liam laughs. "Dude she likes you. Wait till she finds out who her mate is." He says. I glare at him but I can't stop smiling. I sigh and sit back down before replying.

Aw, never thought you felt that way about me Ken ;P Well your mate better be good to you or I will personally kill him. ;)

I still can't stop smiling as I look at Liam who just rolls his eyes. Jack comes over as well and as Liam tells him why I'm smiling like an idiot I look at my phone to see another reply.

Well why would I have told you? It was meant to be a secret goofball. I'm sure my mate will be wonderful. I feel like he is going to be perfect.

I frown. To bad he isn't so perfect. He's a jerk who left her in the dust because he thought school was more important. I hate myself right now. "Hey what happened to the excitement Logan?" Liam asks with a laugh. I look at my friends and roll my eyes. I look back at my phone and reply.

I hope he's as amazing as you believe he will be.

After that she doesn't reply again. It disappointed me but I knew she was probably busy. I look to see Aiden leaving the girl behind and walking towards us. "You know, just because you have mates, doesn't mean you cant dance with girls." He says with a smirk. "We wouldn't want our mates dancing with another man, so why dance with some drunk slut?" Liam asks. Aiden rolls his eyes. "Lets go back, we've been here long enough. I'm getting tired" He says and starts walking towards the door. I get up and follow him. Liam and Jack follow after us. We get out and walk out to look for a taxi. We get one and head back to campus.
