Chapter 12

Logan's P.O.V.

I was now in London. I had made friends with some guys on the plane who were on the early program like I was. "So do we get like, a taxi?" One of the guys, Aiden, asks. "I guess so." Says Liam. Aiden was about my hight with really short brown hair and green eyes. Liam is a bit shorter than us but with black hair and brown eyes. They were both wolves as well. I look around. This place was insane. People everywhere running left and right. Most are human but some are weres. We make our way out of the building and call a taxi. I sit there thinking of Kendall. What would happen when she realized why I really left? Would she hate me for it? I don't know what she'd do. Girls are to confusing to me. I don't know what I'm going to do when I finally get back. This thing lasts 2 months. I have only 2 months to figure out what I'm going to do about this whole mate thing. When I go back I'm screwed unless I can stay away from her for a while, which I won't be able to do. My phone rings and I look down. "Shit.." I mumble under my breath. Aiden and Liam both look at me. "Who's Kendall?" Liam asks. I sigh and answer the phone, holding up my hand to Liam meaning I'll tell him later. "Hey Kendall." I say. "Logan! How was your flight?" She asks. "Oh it was great. I've already made 2 friends." I laugh as I say this. Aiden and Liam both smirk. "Hi!" They both yell. I growl and they laugh. Kendall laughs on the other end. "Hello!" She says in an adorable voice. Wait no I mean a silly voice!

Admit it! Our mate is adorable.

I roll my eyes at his remark and go back to talking to my beautiful ma- shit I mean Kendall! Dammit Logan get your mind straight! "So how is London?" She asks. "It's crazy. Lots of people were in that airport. But it really is an awesome place." I tell her. I lay back and smile as she goes on about how my mom was crying because I was gone and how everyone missed me, how she missed me. That made me smile way more. Which gave Liam and Aiden their answer on who Kendall was. They thankfully said nothing since our driver is human. "Hey Ken I gotta go." I say as the cab stops. "Oh! Alright, well you should call your parents when you get the chance. We all miss you very much Logan. I guess I'll talk to you later! Bye!" Then she hangs up. I set the phone down and sigh in frustration.

Liam and Aiden are both looking at me. We pay the driver then grab our things and head up to the giant building. It was surrounded by some other buildings and I quickly snap a picture for everyone back home. We find the check in and they tell us we will be rooming together with one other person. "How lucky is that?" Aiden says with a smirk. "Yeah hopefully this other guy is cool though." I say as we look for our room. We find it and walk in. To our surprise the other guy is already here. He turns to face us. "Hi I'm Jackson but you can call me Jack." He says with a smile. He has dirty blonde hair and pale yellow eyes. He is also a wolf. "I'm Logan." I hold out my hand and shake his. "I'm Liam." Says Liam with a smirk before also shaking his hand. "And you are?" He looks at Aiden. "Aiden." They shake hands as well. "So we're gonna have fun right. Not just boring school work all the time?" Liam asks with a glance at he rest of us. "Dude my middle name is fun." Jack says with a smirk. We all laugh and joke some more before we start deciding on who gets what bed. It wasn't so hard though. None of us cared so we just threw our things on a random bed. After choosing our beds we decided to go eat. We found a restaurant and get a cab.

We get to the restaurant and get seats within five minutes. A girl comes to get our orders. She keeps flirting with each of us and it's really annoying. I can tell she's a wolf as well. She gets to me. "What can I get you cutie?" She asks with a smile as she tries to show off her chest. I give her my order and she nods with a smile. "We don't usually get hot guys like you around here." She says, looking at me. I sigh and pull out my phone. I show Aiden a picture of Kendall. "This is Kendall by the way." I tell him with a smile. The girl gets annoyed and walks away. "Dude she's hot." I growl as he says this and he holds his hand up. "I didn't mean anything by it. Just saying." He says in surrender. I nod and show the other 2 the picture. "Oh she is pretty but nothing compares to my beautiful mate in my eyes." Liam says with a large smile. We laugh at him. Jackson and Liam then both start talking about their mates. "I haven't found my beautiful lady just yet." Aiden says in a sad ton. "Hey man you'll find her soon." Liam tells him.

"So what about your lady Logan? Jackson asks. I sigh and run a hand through my hair. "That can't be good." Aiden says, looking at me. "It's complicated.. I never wanted a mate really. I wanted to focus on school and get an education.. I met Kendall a few months ago. She became a really good friend. I turned 18 the day I left. I was at school and she never showed up to our first class.. well I got shoved in the hall as someone ran past me crying. I walked over to a classroom. I looked in and saw Kendall's boyfriend practically having sex with a girl from our school.. I kinda beat him up till my brother came in and told me she needed me. So I ran into the girls bathroom and made her open the door. The second I did... I regretted it.. I pulled her into my arms and we stood there for what felt like forever.... I never wanted to let go.. in those few moments I knew I loved her." I look at them as I speak.

They all look surprised. "Why are you here then?" Jack asks. I laugh nervously. "I told her when I met her that I didn't want a mate. That I didn't want someone in the way of my education... she had said how she wanted a mate more than anything else.... if she learned I was her mate... she would be crushed. My parents tried to force me to stay, but at the time I was holding her, back at the school... she had told me I needed to go.. no matter what... so I did." I shrug with a long sigh. "Dude that's rough.." Jack says. I just nod. "Well you have 2 months to figure it out." Liam says as the girl bring out our food. "Yeah, I just hope I can go back without her hating me." I tell them, as we all start eating.
