Logan's P.O.V.

"Let me in or so help me I will break down this door." I growl. I hear her move around then open the door slowly. I kneel down and pull her into my arms. I immediately regret coming in here for her.

Kai snares at me. I quickly block him from my mind. I slowly pull Kendall closer. If I'm going to leave I should at least be close to her for Kai... Or.. maybe it was for myself. No, I never wanted a mate. My education is the most important thing to me. I look down at Kendall as she cries against me. "He will never hurt you again baby I swear." I say softly. Did I seriously just call her that.. Whatever, I just need to stop her pain right now. "I gave him a few bruises. He wont hurt you again I promise." I say as I start rocking back and forth. I hear Ariel walk in but then leave again. I hold Kendall against me and she eventually stopped crying and just held on to me. The bell rang and Kendall jumped in my arms. I laugh lightly. "Its just the bell kitten." I say and quickly regret it. I shake my head. This girl is already making me melt. "I'm sorry I ruined your birthday Logan..." She says quietly. "You didnt ruin anything kitten." I tell her. I honestly stopped caring about what I called her and just let myself talk. "Are you sure.." she asks quietly. "I am absolutely positive." I whisper in her ear. She giggles and I smile at the sound.

"Logan ur mom called.... Its time to decide..." I turn to see Ariel holding her phone to her ear. I look at Kendall then back to Ariel. Its like she reads my mind because a second later her eyes go wide as she looks between us. I take a deep breath and look at Kendall. She's staring at me. "I thought you were going to go." She says with a smile. I loose my words as I try to think of what to say. Kendall smiles and looks at Ariel. "Tell her he's going." She says and Ariel smiles and repeats the words to my mother. I look at Kendall to see her smiling at me. I stand and pull her up with me. "I have to go now Ken." I tell her. "I know. I'll miss you Logan." She says to me. I smile, and put my hand on either side of her face. She looks shocked. "Don't forget me ok kitten." I say with a smile. I pull her towards me and kiss her forehead. With that I release her, turn away, and walk out of the room. I stop right before I leave. "If Brandon messes with you. Talk to Zach. He will help you out." I send her a smile then leave. I pass the office on my way out. I see a beat up Brandon. I smile to myself when he sees me and flinches away. I still feel the rage from him making my mate cry. Wait what am I thinking.. Stop it Logan! Damn why am I calling her my mate... she is not my mate... I won't hurt her like that. I walk out of the school and to my motorcycle. I get on and look up at the school. I'd miss this place. I start up my bike and drive away. I dont dare look back. Because if I did, I know I would go back, and I can't do that. I can't hurt Kendall no matter what.

I get home and walk inside. My parents are sitting there waiting with Kat, Luke, and Dakota. I look at them. Dakota sees the look in my eyes. "Who is it?" He asks me. I look at him then glare at the ground. "Dakota what are you talking about?" My father asks him. He ignores our father. "Logan who? Who is it? You can tell us." He says. I still don't him. "Logan! Who the hell is-" I cut him off. "Its Kendall ok! Kendall is my mate!" I yell at him. Everyone in the room either gasps or just looks shocked. I drop onto the couch and put my head in my hands. "Oh sweetheart that's wonderful! Now her family can join the pack and the two of you can be together!" My mom smiles. I stand up and back away. "No. You dont understand! I cant ever let her know she's my mate. It will crush her. I already told her I didn't want a mate..." I tell them. "Well surely now you've changed your mind dear." My mother says.

"Exactly! Which is why I need to leave... now." With that said I run up to my room. I throw a few more things into a bag then grab all my things. Dakota walks in. "You can't convince me to stay Dakota." I growl. "I'm not going to make you stay. Here let me help you." He grabs 2 of my bags from me. "I'd go out the window. Mom and dad are waiting by the door to try and make you stay here." I turn at my sister's voice. Kat stands there with a small smile with Jaz beside her. "Thanks Kat.." I hug her then hug Jasmine. "Have fun in London..." She say. "I'll call you every chance I get." I tell them. They both nod. I open my window and look down. My car isn't very far. I let Dakota jump first. He waits for me. With one last glance at Kat and Jasmine I jump out of my window. I land beside Dakota and then we run to my car. The front door of the pack house opens. My parents come running out. I throw all my stuff in the car and jump in. Dakota gets in the passenger seat. I look at him questioningly. "Go!" He yells. I turn the car on and slam on the gas petal. The car goes flying.

An hour later and we're stopping at a small restaurant. "Why did you come with me?" I ask Dakota as we walk in the building. "You'll need someone to take your car back home." He says. I just nod. I look at my phone, 30 missed calls from my mom. I sigh as my phone rings. I answer it. "Are you trying to scare me to death?! How dare you run off like that Logan!" She screams through the phone. Dakota laughs from his seat across from me. "Mom I'm going. You can't stop me." I say. "What about Kendall? I wont let you hurt that poor girl she's been through enough." My mother growls through the phone. "Ariel and Zach will take care of her while I'm gone. If your so worried then force dad to let her family join the pack." I tell her. Dakota looks at me with wide eyes. Asking mom to make dad do something only happened when you were very desperate. "He wont let rogues join our pack unless there's a good reason you know that Logan." She says with a long sigh. "Them being attacked by Peter wasn't a good reason?! Kendall being my mate isn't a good reason?" I growl. "She's not your true mate unless you accept her Logan." My mom says calmly. "Who ever said I didn't accept her? Just because I want an education before a mate doesn't mean I don't accept her." I growl. "I'll try Logan but I can't guarantee anything." She says. I sit back in my seat and feel myself smile. My mate will be even more safe if this worked. "Mom I gotta go ok. I love you. Tell Ariel I said bye." I tell her. "I love you too Logan and I promise I will." And with that I hang up.

Another hour and a half later and we were at the airport. Dakota helps me with my things. "I'll miss you little brother." Dakota says as I'm waiting to go wait for my plane. "I'll miss you too Dakota. Do me a favor.." I say slowly. "Anything." He says. "Kendall's birthday is the same day as Ariel's. Make it special for her... for both of them..." I say quietly. "I will Logan. I promise you I will." He says to me. I smile then turn and go through the gate.
