Chapter 3

Logan's P.O.V.

I woke up the next morning and quickly got dressed. I went to Jasmine's room but she wasn't there. I went downstairs and saw Zach and Dakota with Sam and Elizabeth, Sam's mate. "Have any of you seen Jasmine?" I ask. "She left already. Said she had to go see Gabe." Dakota told me. I growl. "What's wrong?" They ask. "I overheard Jasmine on the phone with him last night. He cheated on her." I say and Zach and Dakota both stand with growls. Sam does the same. "Lets go, now." Dakota growls. I nod and grab my bag. I decide to ride my motorcycle since it's faster. The others all do the same thing, riding there own bikes with Elizabeth riding with Sam. We drive to the school and all get there at the same time. All eyes are on us. It's not exactly normal for all of us to ride up together on motorcycles. I jump off and wait for the others to join me. "Anybody seen Jasmine or Gabe?" Sam asks and a few people point towards the side of the building.

We make our way towards that direction and we all stop when we hear Jasmine's voice. "I didn't tell him, he overheard me talking to you!" She said. "Bull shit Jasmine! You stupid bitch!" I heard a slap and a snarl escaped my lips as I made myself visible with Zach and Dakota beside me. "Logan!" Jasmine yells my name. "Oh shit." Gabe says and starts backing away, only to bump into Sam who had gone around the building. Gabe makes a move to run past us and I let him. I growl and follow him. People are staring as the 4 of us walk towards Gabe, growling. "Hey it was just an accident I swear!" He said. "Cheating on our little sister is an accident?!" Dakota snarls. "Slapping her is an accident?" Zach growls out. "I don't believe it was a damn accident!" I snarl at him. He trips and falls to the ground. "She cheated on me first! I saw her talking to that guy at lunch the other day." He says. "Wow she talked to somebody! That means she's cheating? You cheated on her dumb ass!" Sam growls at him. I walk over and pull him up off the ground. I push him towards Zach who punches him in the face. I smirk as he then gets pushed to Sam who throws him to Dakota who also punches him in the face. He get pushed back to me and I slam him onto the ground. "If we see you anywhere near our sister again," I growl, "we will kill you." I shove him again then stand up. I turn to my brothers and Sam.

When I look past them, I see Jasmine still sitting on the ground crying. I walk over and scoop her up into my arms. I take her to where Dakota is waiting on his motorcycle. "I'll take her home." He said and I nod and help Jaz onto the bike. "I already told my mom." Sam says, getting on his bike as well. His mom, Lacken, was principle of the school. Elizabeth got on behind him. "That was awesome!" I knew that voice. I turn and see Ariel running up up to us with Kendall behind her. I hear Dakota growl lowly, wanting his mate, then out of nowhere he's driving away. They get to us. "Great job teaching him a lesson Logan." She says and I smile. "He needed to pay for hurting my little sister." I growl. Kendall smiles at me and I smile back. "Speaking of boyfriends. Kendall tell Logan what happened this morning." Ariel pushed Kendall in front of me. "What happened?" I ask. Kendall blushes and looks down at the ground. "Tell me." I say with a laugh. "Brandon asked me to the school dance this weekend." She said quietly. "That's great. I'm glad some other people are excepting you around here." I smile and she laughs. I see Brandon walking towards us. "Hey man good job." I say and he looks confused. I look at Kendall and he follows my gaze then smirks and puts his arm around her. "Oh yeah, thanks Logan." He says and I nod. "You all should get to class. See you later." Sam says then drives away. I nod and we start making our way to class.

Throughout the day Zach and I had numerous people come up and tell us good job for this morning. I was a little shocked at how many people hated Gabe. At lunch we all sat at the table and I listened to everyone talk. For some reason my wolf had been on edge almost all day, ever since I spoke to Brandon this morning.

What got you so worked up?

I don't know but I can sense something big is going to happen.

I shrug it off and listen in on Ariel. "I mean it's like he hates me. Every time he sees me he gets all mad and growls as he walks away. What'd I do wrong?" She was talking about Dakota. everyone knew the answer to her question but said nothing. After all, it's forbidden. "He's just been having a rough couple of weeks. He'll be fine. I don't think it has anything to do with you Ariel, he does it to everyone lately." I lied. She just sighed and nodded. I look at Kendall who is talking to Brandon. I was worried about the two going out. Brandon was known to be a player. I hope he didn't hurt her. "So Logan who are you asking to the dance?" Ariel asks with a smirk. I look at her. "I was thinking I'd ask you Ariel." I say with a smirk. I had promised Dakota I'd ask her so no other guy could, he trusted me. Ariel blushed. "Really? Me?" She asks. "Yeah how about it?" I ask. "Um sure, I'll go with you." She says and everyone laugh. Zach looks at me and glares. He wasn't used to me having a date and him not having one. "So Ariel, I'll pick you up at 7, is that alright?" I ask her and she nods. "Sure thing." She says right as the bell rings. We all groan as we get up and head to class. I walk with Kendall. "That was sweet of you to ask Ariel." She said with a smile. "I told my brother I would. Ariel is Dakota's mate but he can't tell her till she turns 18." I say and she nods in understanding. "So you are taking Ariel so that no other guy can try and steal her from him?" She asks and I nod. "That's nice." She says as we walk into class. "Well, I'm a pretty nice guy so yeah." I say with a smirk and she laughs. We sit in our seats and wait for class to begin.

After school I walked with Kendall. Her phone went off and she answered it. "Hello?" She says. "Kendall honey I had to take the late shift at work and won't be able to pick you up for another 20 minutes, I'm so sorry." I heard a woman's voice one the other end. "It's ok mom, I can wait." She smiles as she speaks to her mother. "I can take you home." I whisper to her and she smiles at me. "Hey mom, a friend said they can bring me home. You don't have to come." She says. "Oh alright sweetheart I'll see you at the house. You should invite your friend to stay for dinner. I'd love to meet them. Your father is already home working on dinner so we'll be waiting." Then the line goes dead. Kendall look up at me and shrugs. "Wanna stay for dinner?" She asks. I smile. "I'd love to. Come on." I lead her to my motorcycle. We get on and are on our way.
