Chapter 2

Kendall to the side!

Logan's P.O.V.

At lunch I waited outside the cafeteria for Kendall. I saw her and waved her over. "How have you're classes been?" I ask. "They're ok.. nobody really likes me.." She said with a sad expression on her face. "Because you're a rouge. Not many people around here except rouges whatsoever." I say. She flinched at the word rouge as if the word was a knife getting ready to stab her. "You knew the whole time?" She asks me. "No, my brother told me after he saw me talking to you in the hall." I say and she looks down. "I don't care though. I will be your friend." I tell her and she smiles.

We walk through the line then I lead her to my usual table. "Everyone this is Kendall." I say and all my friends turn to look at us. Zach looks at her then to me. She smiles shyly at them all. Ariel looks at me then the girl. "Hi, I'm Ariel." She says to the girl and holds her hand out to her. "Hi.." she shakes Ariel's hand. I smile at them. At least someone besides me would accept her. I pulled another chair up for Kendall and she sat beside me. I was happy when everyone finally began introducing themselves and accepted her into the group. I look at Zach who is staring past me. I turn and see Jasmine with her boyfriend. I roll my eyes in disgust. "She really should drop him." Zach says and everyone nods in agreement. Kendall turns and looks at them. "Who's that?" She asks. Everyone smiles and a few laugh. "That's our sister and her douche bag boyfriend." Zach says. "So you're Logan's brother?" She asks and he looks at her with a smile. "Yes I am. I'm guessing you don't see the resemblance between us. I mean I am way more attractive than him." He says with a smirk. I glare at him. "Yeah maybe to some girls, but only if your into a self centered jock." She says with a smirk, glancing at his letter jacket.

Everyone laughed at that and I was trying not to fall off my chair. Zach glared at her but smirked. Kendall looks at me with a smile. "Nice one Ken." I say and laugh. I hear a growl and turn to see Amanda. "What do you want Amanda?" I ask. She smiles at me. "I was just coming to talk to you about toni-" I cut her off. "You mean how I rejected your offer? Give up. I'm never going out with you, ever." I say and she stomps her foot before turning and walking away with rage. I smile as I turn around. "She just doesn't get it does she." Ariel says and I laugh again. "No she doesn't. Maybe she will give up soon." I say and everyone laughs. I look at Kendall, "Hey you should give us your number so we could all plan a day to hangout this weekend." I say and she nods and pulls her phone out. We passed it around the table and everyone put their numbers in. The bell rang right as we finished exchanging numbers. "See you losers later." Ariel says and leaves. We all say bye and go our separate ways. Kendall and I had our next class together so I walked with her to class and we sat together.

After school I said bye to Kendall and went home. "Hey so Zach tells me you all made friends with the new rouge girl." Dakota says as I walk into the house. I look at him. "Yeah so?" I say and he shrugs. "Just be carful. She's a rouge Logan." He says and I growl. "I don't care if she's a rouge or if she's from an enemy pack. Just because everyone else treats her like shit doesn't mean I will." I say and he just shrugs again. "Whatever Logan. I'm just saying be careful." I glare at him as he speaks. "Ariel accepted her." I say and he jumps up and snarls in my face. Ariel is my bothers mate, but she doesn't know it. By our laws she isn't allowed to know until she turns 18. Which is only a week after mine and Zach's. Stupid law I know but it was made a few years ago not long after Zach and I had been born. Ariel is the daughter of the Third of our pack, Jamie. It kills Dakota that he can't tell her. I don't blame him, though it won't matter for me because I don't want a mate. "Don't speak to me about Ariel." He growls lowly. "Then stop judging Kendall. You haven't met her" I growl back before turning and storming up to my room. I pull my phone out seeing I have a text from Kendall.

Thank you Logan

For what?

I send back. I receive another message almost instantly.

Letting me in your group... and not bullying me like everyone else....

I frown and text back.

I won't let anyone bully you anymore I promise:)

I set my phone down as I take my shoes off and lay back on my bed and look back again.

I read it and smile.

So how old are you?

I ask her.

17. You?

Same. I turn 18 in 2 months. March 16th. Zach and I share a birthday. Ariel's is the 23rd.

I reply quickly. I turn the tv on and watch some reruns of Supernatural. I love this show. My phone goes off again and I look down at it.

OMG! My birthday is March 23rd too!

I laugh as I read the message. "What's so funny?" I look up to see Zach in my doorway. "Nothing. What do you want?" I ask as I type in my phone again. "Just heard you laugh as I was walking by." He said. "Well leave. My room, not yours." I say and he rolls his eyes and walks out. He left and I continued to text Kendall back and forth.

We had talked for hours. I told her about not wanting a mate and she told me she couldn't wait to find hers. It was 10pm when Kendall said she was heading to bed. I decided I should do the same. Before getting any sleep I walked downstairs to get something to eat. When I walked back up I heard crying as I walked past Jasmine's room. I stopped and got closer to the door. "You promised you'd never cheat on me!" I heard her yell. I growled and kept listening. She was on the phone. "Baby you can't expect me to not try and have some fun. You won't do anything with me. I have needs." I heard his voice over the phone. "How could you do that to me? I thought you loved me!" She cried. "I do love you. I won't do it again babe I swear, but don't tell your brothers." I was outraged. He cheated on my little sister and he would pay for it. "I'll think about it... Goodbye Gabe..." She hung up and I heard her break down into tears.

I take a deep breath then walk into the room. She looks up at me and tries to dry her face. "What are you doing in here?" She asks. "Why are you crying?" I ask. She stiffens. "I.. um.. dropped something on my foot." She lies. I growl. "Don't lie to me Jasmine. I heard everything." I say and she breaks down again. I sigh and walk over, sitting beside her and pulling her into a hug. "He's not worth the tears Jaz. I told you he was bad news..." I said and she sniffled. "Why.. why would he... do this to me..." She asks. "I don't know Jaz, but he will pay for what he did." I tell her. She looks up at me. "Please don't tell Zach and Dakota." She says. I look down at her. "I'm telling them. They deserve to know the truth. Besides I need help beating his ass." I growl. "No please! He'll hate me." She cries. I growl again. "Jasmine you need to forget that jerk. He hurt you and he's going to pay. I told you he was no good." I say. She hugs me as she cries out again. I sigh. "Get some rest, I'll see you in the morning." I tell her and she nods and lays in her bed. I leave her to sleep and head back to my room. I would talk to Zach and Dakota in the morning, for now I was getting some sleep.
