“Alright, what’s troubling you?” Niall questions at last, fed up on Zayn’s silent brooding.

“Nothing, I’m fine”

“Stop lying, Zed”

“I don’t know the answer myself” Zayn admits with a sigh. The night has fallen and Liam had disappeared to Harry’s house a while ago. But Zayn can't seem to stop thinking about him though.

“Is this about Liam?” Niall asks and Zayn purses his lips.

“Why would it be about him?” Zayn wonders with a sigh. “It’s just a crush, Niall-”

“Awwie, finally, Little Zed has a crush!”

Zayn is in desperate need for a plaster to shut this blonde shit.

“Niall, for fuck’s sake, keep your voice down!” Zayn hisses.

“Why are you so scared?” Niall questions, finally lowering his voice. He wraps his arm around Zayn’s waist as they start walking deep into the woods. “I mean, have you looked at yourself in the mirror-”

“All the time-”

“You weren’t supposed to answer that question, you idiot” Niall says, making Zayn huff out a laugh. “But have you guys ever just talked? Alone?”

“Yeah, we did. Last night” Zayn admits.

“That’s good, he is comfortable enough to have a chitchat with you, alone” Niall nods to himself “Then what are you worried about? Just go ahead and ask him out. If he says yes, hurray, you have a boyfriend. If he says no, well, his bad. He’ll miss out on a gorgeous alpha”

“It’s too soon and I don’t even know him”

“Isn’t the whole point of dating get to know each other?”

“But, he’s not even gonna stay forever, you know that right? He’ll leave soon, as soon as he thinks so” Zayn points out “What’s the point of getting to know him then?”

“Then give him a reason to stay” Niall shrugs as he stops them from walking and turns to face the alpha, but still has his hand resting around latter’s waist.

“What if he doesn’t want to?”

“Have I ever told you how pessimistic you are?”

“No”

“Then you are” Niall shakes his head “Stop it. And just go for it”

“Fine” Zayn sighs and gulps at the thought of possibly asking Liam out “Are you sure this is a good idea?”

“I am, now go on!” Niall pushes against him.

“Now?!”

“I mean, he knows you like to take a walk at night hours” Niall points out with excitement “And he knows you might run into him. If he shows up tonight again voluntarily, then that’s something to consider”

“What do I do?” Zayn panics and Niall sighs.

“Give him a flower” Niall says sarcastically “Talk with him. Charm him with your sexy eyelashes. Just do something with them”

“Give him a flower” is what Zayn repeats. “That’s a good idea”

“No” Niall shakes his head but someone’s calling for him. Its Harry calling for him. “Coming, you giant frog!” Niall shouts back and turns to Zayn. “Don’t creep him out, okay?”
