CHAPTER 11

"Will I see you tonight?" It seems like Liam is equally reluctant to leave. Zayn knows someone's gonna show up soon in search of him and he can't risk having Liam around.

"Yeah, you will" Zayn assures him, though he's still freaked out over the magical eyes.

But what was that?

Can an omega's eyes really glow like that? Zayn has never heard or seen anything like that before. That's something really... really bizarre.

He so badly wants to ask if Liam knows about this, but the omega seems to be in a good mood. Zayn doesn't want to ruin it, or freak him out in case Liam had no idea. Liam already just loves his different nature.

"Alright" Liam nods, shifting in his place and just finding it so hard to turn around and leave. It pleases Zayn, cause he's not the only one feeling like it.

His rut was most painful than ever. Because he has an omega with him now, an omega his alpha adores. And absence of the omega's presence made it hard to get through the rut. And Zayn is never planning on admitting this to Liam.

Slow. He wants to take things as slow as possible, letting Liam feel, experience, and accept every stage of their relationship.

Zayn fights back an amused smile when Liam sneaks a look into the living room at an engorssed-in-computer-again Louis and looks at Zayn expectantly.

At the same time, it saddens Zayn beyond anything.

He knows, whatever Liam went through, love was not a privilege he was provided with. And that's the thing, cause he sees it everywhere, searches for it everywhere. In endless cuddles Harry gives, fond and teasing smiles Louis gives him, friendly and joyous laughter that Niall rewards him with when Liam says something dorky, and Josh's teasing about Zayn and Liam together.

He searches it everywhere, in every kind gesture and smile. He doesn't mean to do it consciously, He doesn't ask for it either, he just looks for it everywhere.

And all Zayn wants is to love Liam more than anything, make him feel what's it like to be loved like the stars love their moon.

Zayn closes the distance in between them, cupping Liam's head and pressing their lips together. He doesn't care even if someone sees this, because he shouldn't be restricted to kiss Liam whenever he wants. Its Liam's own choice and Zayn won't force him into anything. Others can just fuck off.

Liam kisses back instantly, his fingers trapping Zayn's chin and holding him close. This kiss is a bit emotional to Zayn than the others, cause he feels it in him, he can see himself falling madly for Liam.

"Come on guys, get a room!"

Zayn sighs, pulling back to see a mortified Liam. His eyes aren't glowing like last time.

"Ignore them. They are idiots"

"Oii" Josh protests loudly and Niall laughs beside him.

"Um, bye" Liam mutters, flustered and scurries off to leave. He pushes past Josh when the beta teases him too much.

"Josh, I swear to god, I'll rip your dick off if you keep teasing him to death" Zayn warns, but it has no effect.

"What are you doing here?" Zayn asks when all he recieves is shit eating grins.

"Can't we come by anytime we want?" Josh asks innocently. And Zayn throws a look at him.

"You have duties to do, you idiots" he points out in a mutter.

"Chill, Zed. We came to inform you that Alec is going out to get grocery with Paddy" Niall says, but walks in. Zayn would have welcomed him if not for Josh's presence. He desperately needs to talk to Louis, alone.
