Zayn doesn't know whether he should believe his eyes, they might be deceiving him for all he knows. Because this truly cannot be happening.

"Alec?" He breathes out in shock.

The said Alpha looks around cautiously, like he's expecting some guard to pounce on him unexpectedly. He's holding a gun he must have stole from one of the guards and Zayn's head spins with the shock. He really needs a moment to grasp at what's going on. Because what the actual-

"Alec?!" There's a chorus followed by Zayn's whisper.

"What the fuck are you doing here?" Niall gapes incredulously.

"I thought you guys might need saving" Alec says, walking in and grimacing when he sees George still writhing in pain. "He's a bad guy, right? I'm not mistaken?"

Harry looks incredulous "You ask that after you shoot him?"

"He had Niall on gun point" Alec points out as he searches George's pocket for keys and retrieves them. He walks over to Niall and starts unlocking it with terribly shaking hands.

"I don't understand" Louis says blankly "How did you find us?"

"Now's not the time for explanation" Alec says as he successfully removes the handcuffs bounding Niall's wrists. "Here, release all of them while I keep watch"

Niall's actions are uncoordinated with the unexpected shock he's facing. Alec stands by the door and keeps watch, his gun pointed at George. When they are free, Alec starts leading the way out through the dark corridor. Guards lie on the floor, some rolling in pain and some unconscious.

"Did you take down all of them?" Oliver gapes and Alec sighs.

"I thought I said now's not the time for explanations but yes. I was purely working on adrenaline though" He says with a wince when his shoulder brushes by the wall.

"Do you know our way out?" Louis questions and Alec huffs out before answering.

"Not really, but Coco can help us" He says, dipping his hand into a pocket and pulling out the squirrel and setting him on the floor. Coco doesn't waste time with his usual greeting; he sniffs for a moment and starts running through the corridor, leading them.

There's a million questions tormenting them, but they need to get out first. Louis doesn't look too sure in following a squirrel out of all to find their way out, but his doubts begin to diminish when they reach a stair case leading up. The corridor there is lighted up brightly in white light, and Zayn realizes they have been locked up in a basement of a mansion. So it's not hard to find their way out. Guards litter the floor here as well and Zayn knew Alec is good and quick when it comes to hand to hand combats, but he didn't know he could single handedly take down nearly twenty men, some armed with guns.

"Please tell me you brought your car" Louis says as the reach the front gate. There's gunshots going off immediately and there's shouts asking them to stand down. They hide behind the walls while the glasses shatter in the window by them with bullets.

"Fuck, they are too fast with their backup" Alec curses lowly and through the broken window, he fires twice, his eyes sharp as he aims. The gunshot sounds makes Zayn feel dizzy with it and he clutches his ears to shut them out. His head spins for a moment and he takes a deep breath in to focus his breathing.

"Come on, quick, follow me!" Alec orders, grabbing Coco with one hand and running out. There's still few men left and they are loading bullets in their guns.
