I sat swinging my legs over the edge of the roof of the building, staring out over the bleak surroundings. Felix was right. This was kind of comforting. The danger of being so close to your demise, definitely got the adrenaline coursing through your veins.

"You better not be thinking about jumping you little freak." Leeknow appeared beside me and wiped his hands on his tight denim jeans. I shrugged my shoulders and leaned back on my hands, turning my face upwards to the sky.

"Shut up Leeknow." I mumbled as I absorbed the sun rays that were warming my face. He sucked his tongue and tutted in disbelief.

"When the fuck did everyone stop respecting me?!" He asked as he huffed. I giggled and pulled my legs up to my chest, rocking my body back and forth with my toes.

"You're a pussy cat Leeknow. That's your problem." I said quietly as my eyes examined his face. His skin was perfect and I wanted to reach out and just run my fingers over it.

But he was dating Felix.

"Maybe I need to get my claws out more." He looked at me and pretended to claw the air like an angry cat. I burst into laughter and rolled backwards until I was laid down. I knew he probably only liked us because Lix spent a fortune here, but it was comforting to be around people who didn't look at me like I was a pathetic lost soul, who had lost his dad.

Even if that's what I was.

"Hey, Leeknow, why do you let us hang out here so much? Well me really. Lix obviously spends money here, but I just sit around and mope." I asked thoughtfully. He rested his hands on his toned thighs and lifted his face to the sky. His jawline was on full display and his perfect lips curved into a beautiful smile that made me want to jump on him.

"I dunno. Don't get me wrong, Lix is a customer."

"And your boyfriend." I sat up and nudged him with my shoulder playfully. He wrinkled his nose cutely and shook his head causing his hair to flop around.

"A customer." He repeated, more firmly. "But you're just, I dunno. Like an annoying little brother I guess? You guys have, well you know, your shit. Who am I to make it worse? If you need a place to escape I would rather it was here than somewhere unsafe." He explained thoughtfully. My heart lurched slightly and I couldn't sit here like this with him. It was dangerous. I slowly got to my feet, needing to put space between us both. Before I hurt my brother.

Except my foot slipped. I found myself falling forward and watched as the ground came into view, over the edge of the building.

"YAH!" Leeknow shouted, panic ringing out in his voice. I closed my eyes and prepared myself to leave the building, accepting that I had just sealed my fate.

What a stupid fucking mistake.

At the last second, a warm, large had wrapped around my arm and I was wrenched backwards towards the safety of the roof. I fell into the person behind me and we both landed with a thud. I could barely breathe and I was panting loudly like a dog, as they held me protectively in their arms. I could feel the strong heartbeat against my back and couldn't believe what had just happened.

"J-Jisung! Are you ok?!" Leeknow rushed over to help me back to my unsteady feet. My knees quaked and I felt far too weak to stand. My whole body felt like it wanted to give out beneath me as my head span wildly. I looked down and saw Hyunjin sprawled out on the floor. He groaned and sat up, his hand was massaging his head and his face was screwed up in pain.

"H-Hyunjin! I-I'm sorry!" I quickly knelt and checked him over for any injuries. He had a small cut on his head, but for the most part he seemed OK.

"Are you ok?" He asked quietly. I nodded and stared at him with wide, scared eyes. He got back to his feet and began wiping filth off of his dirty clothes.
