Lix had been forced to be Mr Lee's slave. We all knew it, and he had completely withdrawn from us. It was startling just how much he had pulled away and I barely recognised the boy I saw wandering the halls on his own.

Felix left the chat.
Felix left the group.

He had begun sleeping alone according to Hyunjin and his night terrors were worse than ever. Every time Hyunjin tried to sneak in at night, his father was waiting. Waiting to turn him away so Lix would suffer more and become a husk of his former self.

What pissed me off more was Mom knew something was happening and wasn't doing anything to protect my brother.

"J-Jisung. I know you said no, but we can't let Lix go through this. He's not strong enough. He's been through too much. What if he never recovers?" Min's voice was full of turbulent emotions and I felt the heavy weight of responsibility for all of this. Why was I stuck making this impossible decision?

Mr Lee would either use Felix or Minho. I couldn't stand choosing between the two. We had only just escaped his clutches as it was.

"Don't even bring that up again. You're not serving yourself up to him on a platter. We will find a way to save him." I stated. A knock at the door startled us both. Everyone was out, so Minho and I were here, alone.

No one had told us they were planning on visiting and we weren't exactly big on unexpected visitors after our kidnapping. I pressed my fingers to my lips and Leeknow nodded. The knocking turned to pounding, and my heart followed suit. Whoever it was, they were desperate to get in. I picked up Chris' metal baseball bat and headed towards the door carefully. I stayed close to the ground to avoid detection from anyone trying to look in.

When I got there and scouted it out, I threw the door open. Hyunjin stood there, with giant tears in his eyes. Lix was practically draped around his shoulder and looked half dead. I could smell the alcohol wafting off of him before I even got close.  I ushered them in, and checked outside before closing and locking the door firmly.

"What the fuck happened?" I asked as Hyunjin laid him on the couch.

"I went to a party!" I was shocked to hear anything come out of Lix's mouth, but he was clearly drunk, and I suspected he was also as high as a kite. A chill ran down my spine at that statement.

It was the same one Minho had given me all those weeks ago. What the fuck was this party bullshit?

"Help." Hyunjin's voice was barely a squeak and I set about trying to do everything I could for my brother.

"Why didn't you take him to a hospital Pabo?" I scolded. Hyunjin flopped to the floor next to Lix and I had never seen him this hapless before. It was unlike him to be completely lost and so uncertain.

"A-Appa told me if I did that, next time would be ten times worse. I didn't know what else to do. P-Please Jisung. Help him." He begged me as tears flooded down his cheeks. His eyes squeezed shut and his nose was running like a tap. This was so alien to me. Hyunjin never cried, especially not in front of people.

"Minho, get me the first aid kit, some water a blanket and something that will sober someone up when they're high!" I called. I heard him rushing around and began checking Lix over. He hiccuped pathetically and his eyes were rolling around in his skull uncontrollably.

"Yah, Felix you fool, what have you taken?" I asked as I gently tapped his face to get him focused on me.

"I dunno." He slurred. "There was some vodka, and whiskey, and some pills and some coke..." How the hell was he still conscious?! I slowly lifted his shirt and recoiled in horror.
