THE NEXT DAY

ROME'S POV

"What?"

I turned to my head to the right to look at Troye who was staring up at the huge five star rated restaurant/hotel building in front of us with a smile on his face.

"You that dumb? It's a restaurant..duh!"

He said rolling his eyes at me.

I gritted my teeth controlling the urge to curse at him as we are in public and glanced at Leo to see him giving me an apologetic smile.

"I know that, you roach. I'm asking what are we here for?"

He glared at me for what I called him and I returned that glare with no hesitation. I heard Leo clearing his throat as he spoke up.

"You both stop glaring at each other and do what you came here for in the first place."

"Well.. I'm starting to regret my decision of helping him get a part time job with good pay which would really help him manage everything."

He said rolling his eyes and looked away digging his hands into his pant pockets. I sighed looking at the restaurant in front and then at Troye.

"Okay I'm sorry that I called you a roach."

"You better mean it. Just because you're my friend's boyfriend I'm sparing you."

I controlled the urge to roll my eyes and nodded at him. He smiled in victory and pulled out his phone dialing a number and waited for the person he called to answer.

"Hey Hazel.. I'm here waiting for you outside the restaurant along with my friends."

He spoke as Leo and I just stared at him.

"Yeah the guy I told you about last night."

He bit his lip listening to what this person named Hazel is speaking to and nodded with a smile forming on his face.

"Okay we'll be waiting!"

He cut the call sliding his phone back into his pocket and turned to face the both of us.

"She's one of my friends in the class and I asked her if she could help Rome in getting a job in this restaurant because you know..she works here as well and they pay hefty amount and it will be useful for you."

"Oh that's so sweet of her."

Leo spoke smiling at him.

"How much is the salary?"

"I'm not sure about that but you'll be going in along with her to talk to the manager. Hope you get this job."

"I wish too."

"Hey Troye!"

We heard someone call him and turned around to see a girl around almost our age speed walking towards us or more like towards Troye.

She is wearing a maroon coloured blouse tucked into her short black skirt along with a white and maroon coloured neck scarf with a pair of high-heeled shoes.

Troye and Hazel hugged each other and then she turned around looking at Leo and I.

Her eyes slightly widened once her eyes landed on me and I raised a brow in confusion to which she let out a shy chuckle glancing back at Troye.

"It's him?"

Troye nodded smiling at her and gave me a glance before looking back at her. I rolled my shoulders straightening my back.
