TROYE'S POVI stared at the receptionist blankly who stood behind the front desk dialing a number on the telephone placed in front of her.
I thrusted my hands into my pant pockets patiently waiting for her to finish the call. Once she did, she turned to face me with a small smile on her face.
"I informed to one of the mentors that you came to meet Hazel but you need to wait for fifteen minutes or so because she's attending a class at the moment. Please take a seat."
She said motioning at the chaise lounge behind me.
"Okay thank you."
I sat down on one of the chairs and took my phone out of my pocket to kill some time.
I came here to confront Hazel. I don't know anything about how they ended up kissing each other so thought of asking Hazel instead of Rome because I have no intention to talk to him after he cheated on Leo.
I have this hunch that he might be drunk and I kind of suspect Hazel too but what he has done is wrong. Even if he was drunk it wouldn't justify his actions.
I sighed sliding my phone back into my pocket and crossed my arms over my chest with my mind playing the flashbacks of what happened a day ago.
I hugged Leo closer to my body fearing to let go as he sobbed gripping my jacket tightly. I caressed his back trying to relax him but nothing seems to work.
I let out a sigh gritting my teeth glaring at nothing in specific.
What's wrong with Rome? How could he? And what about Hazel? What the heck is even happening?
I would have never suggested him to go meet Hazel if I knew this is what would happen. All I wanted for them is to talk making each other's feelings clear but it took a drastic turn hurting Leo in the process.
For a fact, Hazel doesn't know he's dating but what's wrong with that asshole then!? He didn't tell her?
"Let's go home."
"I don't want to go there."
He sniffled wiping the tears off his face but more tears streamed down his face.
"Just for tonight Leo... I don't think he'll go back home tonight and you can also call your parents to pick you up tomorrow."
He stared at me as if he was thinking about what I just said and slowly nodded looking away with a sigh leaving past his lips.
He opened the front door walking in and I could see how hard he's trying to hold back the tears in his eyes. I closed the door behind me as I saw him going upstairs.
"I-I will call my dad."
He said walking into the bedroom to which I nodded plopping down on the small couch near the staircase railings.
I swear I felt like punching Rome in the face but controlled myself as my priority is Leo. I don't know what made him do that but I know he will regret it real bad.
After a few minutes of stressing over the situation, I saw Leo walking out of the room now in his pyjamas.
"He said either him or mom would come to pick me up."
"Okay but wait- Henley lives in the same house right?"
"He used to but now moved out after he got a job."
"Oh that's good."
"Yeah.. You want to help me in packing my stuff?"
He asked wiping the tear that managed to escape the beautiful eyes of his.
