Foggy Bottom has been inactive for the past month and Mayor Humdinger was getting tired of it. He didn't feel like a mayor as he used to when he first came into office. Since then, residents have left Foggy Bottom and relocated to a new environment when they first saw how ruthless of a mayor Humdinger was. He barely cared for any improvement in the town. Fog was the only thing the atmosphere brought besides having few storms. There was nothing the mayor could do about it. Humdinger has made several visits to Adventure Bay, the town which was just down the road leaving the foggy area, to basically search for items that he can get his hands on or just to go out for a stroll. He even tried to run as substitute mayor while Mayor Goodway was out for a camping trip, which didn't last long. Mayor Goodway eventually put an end to his tactics and made sure to not let anything like that happen again. Humdinger was even a candidate to run for mayor as a permanent authority figure, but lost to Goodway by a landslide. After a few more tries, Humdinger still wouldn't give up. He kept trying and trying to get the attention he deserved. He finally got his shot when he was elected mayor for Adventure City but his followers didn't take a liking to him after seeing his "improvements" he made to the city. Not to mention he was arrested after breaking several laws while doing so. Laws such as gross negligence, public endangerment, and dognapping. He was soon bailed out of jail by his mother, Helga Humdinger, and returned to Foggy Bottom in infamy. But now, Humdinger was tired of being unnoticed and feeble. He was going to make sure he was on top and nothing was going to stop him. Not even the PAW Patrol. He was sitting in his chair in his lair reading a newspaper. He was looking at the local news and found something oddly interesting. There was a headline that read;

"NORTH WESTERN RAILWAY'S PUBLIC ADDRESS SYSTEM CAUSES MISHAP AT KNAPFORD"

Under the headline, there was a photo taken of a man in a black suit and tophat holding a megaphone in one hand while reading a clipboard in the other. There was a crowd of people around him, looking displeased at the man. This caught the mayor's attention as a devious smirk plastered on his face.

"Hm, a railway?" He said to himself, raising an eyebrow impressively while putting his fingers to his chin. "Seems a bit challenging, but I'll take it. Who needs citizens to do your work when you have trains?" He said laughing menacingly.

The kittens grew puzzled at his statement. The mayor turned to them.

"It seems that the controller is having some difficulties controlling his railway. If I was the controller, then the citizens would be pleased with my work and wouldn't have a fuss with how I'm doing things. And I wouldn't have to see that team of meddling mutts again!" He said, breaking into another menacing fit of laughter.

One of the kittens let out a witting meow.

"So what if it's a railway on an island in Britain? That still doesn't mean we can't get there by boat. We'll sneak on a freighter that will be heading the same way towards that island and boot that controller out of office and I'll be the one who's in charge of the railway." He said.

The kittens meowed once again.

"Are you still worried about the PAW Patrol finding us? Kitties, relax! There's no way that they'll find us on an island that's in Britain. There's no possible way." He assured them.

The kittens reluctantly meowed in agreement.

"Good! Now, off to find a freighter that's still near us that will take us to Britain." He said before taking off to find his kitty carrier with his kittens following him. The mayor hopped on his only vehicle and waited for his kittens to hop in and set off to the nearest port they knew.

Back in Adventure Bay, Ryder and the pups were hanging out on the lookout's lawn and having fun playing games. Chase, Marshall, and Zuma were playing tag, Rubble was taking his nap, Rocky was in his puphouse putting the finishing touches to his newest invention in the lookout's garage, Ryder was watching his pups play, and Skye was by the cliff, looking out into the bay. Ryder took notice of her and went over to her.

"Hey, Skye, why aren't you playing with the others?" He asked.

Skye shrugged her shoulders. "I don't know, Ryder. I just don't feel like it." The cockapoo responded as she looked out into the bay.

Out in the middle of the bay was a freighter that was passing by.

"Ryder, where's that ship going?" The cockapoo questioned again.

"From what I remember, Mayor Goodway told me that a freighter was on its way to Britain today."

"Britain? Where's that?"

"Long ways from here. You sure you don't want to join the others?"

"I'm sure."

"Well, okay then. See ya around."

Skye kept gazing off into the distance following the freighter that was going to its destined location as Ryder turned around and went back to sit on his lawn chair. The cockapoo wondered what it was like to go somewhere that wasn't Adventure Bay. Yeah, she and the other pups went to a lot of places such as Barkingburg, the Arctic, the jungle, Foggy Bottom, and Adventure City, but she wanted something new. Something that could take her breath away. Whether it was a place she'd dream of going or just watching a fictional place come to life. Back on the freighter, however, was a man in a purple suit and a bunch of kittens that had snuck onto the boat. The man snickered as he twirled his mustache while his kittens quietly joined in. They were about to do something that would certainly put a meaning to the word 'catastrophe'.

Look, I know these two shows take place in different universes, but I want to try something out.
