The PAW Patrol were busy snoozing away in the Sea Patroller. That was until the morning sun had hit Ryder's eyes and rose from his sleeping position. The ten-year-old boy rubbed his eyes and stretched his arms as saw the heat rays of the morning sun peer into the Sea Patroller's driver's room. The pups were scattered around the floor sleeping. Ryder looked at his pups who were snoozing soundly as he hopped out of bed and walked over to the deck of the Sea Patroller. The Sea Patroller was parked right beside Brendam docks and Robo-dog made sure that the huge ship would make sure to not get in the way of any of the incoming ships that were scheduled to arrive. Was it illegal to be parked in a spot where huge ships filled with cargo that had the island's essentials? Maybe, maybe not. If the Fat Controller knew about it, he would have sorted things out with the PAW Patrol and shown them a spot where they could actually have stationed their vehicle. Either that or he could tell Ryder to send the Sea Patroller back to Adventure Beach and bring a more appropriate automobile, like the Air Patroller. But since the Fat Controller is now locked up, Humdinger is in charge and if he knew where the Sea Patroller was, he would've found a way to sink the huge ship without hesitation, expressing his resentment towards the team in general. As Ryder gazed upon the blue seas, he heard a yawn behind him and turned around.

"Morning, Ryder."

It was Rocky. The mixed-breed recycling pup. He trotted his way beside Ryder and looked at the beautiful blue seas. The water was at peace as the morning sun glimpsed it's light onto the tranquil water.

"It's peaceful here at the docks, ain't it?" Ryder asked his pup. Rocky nodded.

Then Ryder remembered what Skye had said back at the lookout.

"Skye said something about wanting to see something new. I think she got her wish."

"She did?"

"Yeah. Don't you get tired of the same old repetitive routine? I mean, I like Adventure Bay. I really do. But I think it's about time we went on a vacation. And I think we're doing that right at this moment."

The ten-year-old boy and the mixed breed eco pup continued to stare at the peaceful seas before them.

After some time, the rest of the team woke up and had their breakfast and were ready for the day. The pups wanted to see what other engines there were on Sodor besides Thomas, James, Emily, and Toby. Ryder was surprised by this but soon obliged. The rescue team walked out of the Sea Patroller and managed to walk the whole way from the docks to Tidmouth. Along the way, they saw James pulling a passenger train and waved at him, with the big red engine whistled back at them. They also saw a big blue engine with a number two on its tender pulling a goods train and waved at him. The engine, who was Edward, noticed the ten-year-old boy and his pups and whistled 'hello'. When the team finally reached Tidmouth sheds, they all noticed their new little engine friend sitting in the shed all alone. Once the little blue tank engine was in their sights, the pups grew excited and ran to him. Ryder followed right behind them. The pups were now right in front of the blue tank engine with smiles on their faces.

"Hey, Thomas!" Ryder said cheerfully, only to realize that Thomas didn't look happy. "Are you okay?"

"I'm fine." The blue tank engine replied depressingly.

"You don't look fine."

"I'm fine." The blue tank engine insisted.

"Are you sure? You look depressed." Chase commented.

I said-" Thomas was about to snap at the rescue team but stopped himself and looked back down at his buffers and sighed. "No, I'm not okay."

"Well, what happened?" The ten-year-old boy questioned curiously. Then Thomas felt all the uneasiness rush through his boiler again once Ryder brought up that question as he knew Mayor Humdinger now knew that he had teamed up with the PAW Patrol and knew that the whole island knew about what he had done to Emily.
