Did I regret asking Charlotte to come over before we were about to meet up with her friends for dinner? Hell no, I even figured that if this was how I could get into the best mood for a night out, then it would have to involve Charlotte being here every single time.

The way I laughed so my stomach was cramping, and how our drinks spilled over my kitchen counter because we were cheering with our glasses a bit too wildly, was when I knew that Charlotte was a person I needed to keep in my life forever.

I had never assumed that Charlotte, who probably could afford any dress in the world, would drool over my wardrobe of dresses, because she did, and it ended up with us two wearing outfits coming from there in the end. Me in a tight black dress with an open back, showing off my tattoo I had gotten when I turned 18, a quote from Lord of The Rings, making Charlotte squeal when I showed myself off to her as she told me to always wear dresses with open backs as my tattoo was very flattering. Charlotte on the other side, borrowed a dark blue dress with some lace-details, matching her high heels perfectly.

Before neither of us got too much alcohol in our blood, we managed to do our makeup, and I decided in the end for keeping my hair in a high pony tail to not hide the back of my dress. With jewellery decided, and my purse ready with everything I would be needing, we called for a cab as neither of us felt like getting blisters before we even had gotten to the night club.

Once in the cab, which was driven by a really sweet elderly man who opened the door for the both of us, I quickly texted Daniel, remembering that I never thanked him for today, wishing him to have a great dinner with Michael as well, even though I had never met him.

He was quick answering me, thanking me as well and wishing me a great evening too, hoping that I wouldn't stay in tonight like I did last weekend. I may have been groaning to him about how I couldn't become a person that stayed in every weekend and turn into a boring one earlier today. Which also was the reason to my loud snort, making Charlotte look up from her phone at me.

"What was that?"

Looking over at her, I shook my head, "Oh, just Daniel hoping that I'm not staying in tonight, little do he know that I'm actually on my way to have my best night out here in Monte Carlo."

"Daniel? You haven't mentioned this guy? Who is he?" Charlotte quickly turned interested, and I knew that I had to explain to her who he was, even though I knew that I could be seconds from spilling details to her as I was already feeling a bit drunk.

Explaining how I met him, and being extra clear that we were only friends, I knew by the look she gave me, that my words said one thing, but the actions said something else. Especially when I told her that I was going to Portugal next weekend to see him race. I debated on whether to tell her about the fact that this was Daniel Ricciardo, but Charlotte was the only one here that I had bonded with except for him, and it wasn't like she would figure it out quickly as she would notice me being out of the country next week. And I trusted her, plus Monaco wasn't really giving me the impression that it was unusual for people living here to know famous people.

"Damn girl, if he's flying you to Portugal, it will not look like only a simple friendship soon. And I won't blame you, he do look good." Charlotte giggled, knowing immediately who he was once I told her what he did for a living.

She promised to not tell her friends about it, and our conversations quickly went over to talk about other things before we finally arrived at the restaurant.

Once there, it wasn't hard for me to figure out who her friends were, because they were probably the loudest ones inside, and I knew immediately that I was in for a good company tonight.
