"I-" Daniel looked down at me, the smile that I longed for being back on his lips. "I hope this is what you want, and that you don't feel like we're rushing this. Or that-"Placing a finger over his mouth, he stopped talking. "Daniel, this is exactly what I've wanted to happen ever since I asked you to stay over that night. And if you think that I would ever think that you're only here because of the results you had today, then no."
Smiling at each other, he leaned back in, his one hand finding their way around my waist as if I could come any closer to him right now, as the other stayed safely behind my neck as he brought his lips back to mine.
"Damn, I've pictured how this would feel, but it's even better than I expected to do this." Daniel smirked as I giggled while he placed small kisses all over my face and down onto my neck.
Looking back up at me, he shook his head as he took a step back, letting his eyes fall over my body before coming back to my eyes. "You know, no matter how shitty I feel today, how I even asked for taking a fine for not facing the media after the qualifying, it all feels long lost now that I have you here in front of me."
"You want to order room service? Or have dinner with the guys?" I asked as I walked away from Daniel, deciding that I needed to change into something more comfortable after wearing this dress literally the whole day.
"Can we please order something to your room? And maybe... watch a movie?" Daniel said before biting his lip, "As much as I love my friends, and the support I got from Michael afterwards today, I only want to stay in here with you."
"Then staying in it is!" I smiled before I crouched down in front my my suitcase on the floor to grab something more comfortable to wear for a movie and food in bed.
As Daniel sat down on my bed, I debated if whether I was comfortable enough to change in front of him, or if I had to go inside my bathroom, but before I could even think of my options, Daniel grinned, "If you're not comfortable with the risk of me seeing you half naked, I can always turn away and look down at my phone while you change clothes. It's okay."
"Promise?" I gave him a serious look.
With a nod from him, and watching him turn his back to where I was standing as he much promised looked down at his phone, I finally felt brave enough to remove my dress quickly before putting on a pair of biking tights and a t-shirt.
"Okay I'm done now!"
While I thought that I would get a moment to look through the menu that was at my hotel while laying in the same bed as Daniel so we could look together, Daniel seemed to have other thoughts, as he never stopped tickling me, making me nearly scream in between my laughter fits.
With a loud smack, Daniel suddenly stopped as he was just as shocked as me that I just smacked his head with the menu, and as my eyes grew bigger and I tried to bite down on my lower lip hard to not start laughing, I watched Daniel's face go from shocked before he suddenly started smiling. "Dang, never thought I would meet a lady that uses the hotel's menu as a weapon when being attacked, but look at me!"
"Oh shut up you!" I laughed before I was finally released by Daniel's grip, and as I watched him lay down with one of the pillows behind his back, he gently patted the spot next to him, waiting for me to lay down next to him so we could finally figure out on what to eat for dinner. "Is this you trying to make up a trap? Or are we at peace now?"
"I promise to keep my fingers away, for tickling you at least!" Daniel smirked as he held up his hands in the air to show me that he wouldn't start tickling me again.
"Good, because you know what happens if you do, I do have my best weapon there is in my hands!" I said with a serious tone in my voice as I pointed towards the menu that was still in my hands.
