Y/N's POV:
The walk was nothing special. I wasn't stabbed or attacked in any way. But it still made me hate this neighborhood even more.
I saw lots of happy children playing in front of their happy families' houses. This pissed me off so much that I didn't get very far. But what I had seen before I went back to the house was already enough.
I don't want to stay here. But I guess I don't have a choice, as long as I am not 18 and financially independent from my parents. What a shitty time to be alive.
I skip dinner and just take a quick shower before I head to bed.
School starts tomorrow. That means it only gets worse from here.
~
When I wake up, yesterday seems like a blur. I have already pushed everything that happened - which wasn't much to begin with - to the back of my mind. My attempt at optimism.
Maybe one of these days will be a moderate to good one. Then I can pretend it was the first.
But it won't be today. That I realize soon enough.
