Y/N's POV:
I run my hands through Sophia's dark luscious hair, pushing a stray strand out of her face and behind her ear. Our faces are so close. I'd barely have to move to make our lips meet.
It's been quite a while since we first kissed, but being this close to her still makes my heart beat faster. However, there's no hint of nervousness now, only pure anticipation. After all, by now I know perfectly well what these lips are capable of doing.
"Almost a year in, and you still stare at me like a creep whenever you can!"
I almost flinch. I was too busy hyperfixating on Sophia's sinful lips to notice that she's opened her eyes.
"Are you complaining? I can go back to calling you a goblin just as-"
"Oh, for fuck's sake! Just shut up and do what you were going to do before you got distracted by my incredibly good looks."
I huff a laugh but comply anyway. I mean, that's just in my best interest, and when it comes to Sophia, I am incredibly selfish!
Sophia's already slightly swollen lips part the moment my mouth touches hers. She's been acting in her own best interest just as much as I have, but it's not like I didn't know that already. Sly, eager little thing.
Before she can complain any further, I slip my tongue into her mouth. Which is definitely an effective method for shutting her up.
Sophia tips back her head to grant me easier access, and I immediately jump at the chance to deepen the kiss – if that's even still possible. We seem to be on the same page though, since Sophia lets her hand wander to the back of my neck and pushes my head down towards her as much as possible. And she doesn't let go either. Because who needs breathing anyway?
I hate denying Sophia what she wants – not that I'd ever admit that, I'd never hear the end of it –, but at some point I'll have to take a breather. Usually, gently nibbling at her bottom lip does the trick, but not today it seems. Alright then.
I open my mouth a bit more, but Sophia just takes that as an invitation to explore my mouth in return. Well, no biting her lip then. I bet she would've liked it a bit too much anyway.
Of course, I let Sophia have her way with me first, and just do my best to breathe through my nose. It's not like I want to stop kissing her either, but I'm still a tiny bit glad as Sophia seems to remember she's human – hard to believe at times, I know – and needs to breathe as well. Reluctantly, she releases my neck and pulls back the slightest bit.
I sit back on my heels, panting. "You know, if you wanted to get into breathplay, you could've just asked me."
Sophia doesn't move from where she lies beneath me in my bed, and God, I really can't complain! The sight of her in my bed still gets me going. Another thing I'd never say out loud.
One eyebrow raised, Sophia retorts: "Don't project your fantasies onto me." And with a sweet smile that makes my chest ache, she adds: "But of course we could try it out if you want to so bad, Y/N-Boo."
"Are you trying to trick me into asking for something you're too shy to say out loud again?" I cock my head and pin her down with my glare.
Once again a sweet smile and a batting of her eyelashes. "Me? I'd never."
Yeah. We both know that's a lie. I shrug anyway. "Okay then."
A moment of silence.
But just a moment. Until Sophia – of course – interrupts it. "What? Now you're going back to staring?"
