A/N: this is basically similar to my smytheberry one, and I thought it would be great with this Paring
Paring: Niff (Nick and Jeff)
Nick and Jeff are currently in the library at Dalton with Hunter and Sebastian who are messaging their girlfriends Quinn and Rachel. It was very rare if you ever saw Nick without Jeff, or Jeff without Nick. The only time you do see them separated is if they are in separate classes, which again is very rare, everyone at Dalton especially The Warblers knew that Nick and Jeff are in love with each other. Hunter and Sebastian were in their own little world messaging their girlfriends when they hear
"How could you be so stupid?" Hunter and Sebastian looked up from their phones and noticed Jeff standing up looking down at Nick who was sitting down in their chair. Sebastian and Hunter forgot about their phones, especially when Nick stood up and said
"Me stupid, what about you, at least I'm not an idiot like you, who thinks it's funny to mess about in class and not take it seriously knowing graduation is coming up."Hunter and Sebastian were in shock at what Nick had just said to Jeff. Anyone who knows Jeff like Nick does, knows that being called an idiot is something that he personal. Jeff stared at Nick and said
"Wow Nick, bravo at least I know what you really think of me, you of all people know why I take being called an idiot a personal thing." Nick knew, he regretted it, and before he could apologise, Jeff looked at him and said
"We aren't friends anymore." Jeff then gathered his things and walked out the library, leaving a guilty Nick, and a shocked Sebastian and Hunter. Sebastian looked at Hunter, and then at Nick and said
"What just happened?" Nick sat back down and sighed
"A broken friendship, and a relationship that won't ever happen." Sebastian knew how much the blonde meant to the brunette. He also knew that without Jeff, Nick would be miserable, Sebastian knew the struggles that Nick has had when he came out, whereas Hunter knew Jeff's struggle and knew how much Nick meant to him. Sebastian and Hunter hated seeing people heartbroken, even if they themselves took so long with asking Rachel and Quinn out.
They watched Nick sat there all glumly and sad, when they knew that he should be trying to apologise to Jeff. Hunter then picked up his phone from the table and messaged Sebastian.
Sebastian we need to fix this.
Hunter sent the message to Sebastian, and waited for his reply. When Sebastian read the message, he replied
I agree, you go get Jeff, and bring him back, I have a plan follow my lead.
Sebastian sent Hunter the reply, who looked at Sebastian and nodded his head, and then walked out to find Jeff. As Hunter walked out, Sebastian looked at Nick and said
"Do you want Jeff back?" Nick looked up at Sebastian and said
"Of course I do Sebastian, I regret calling him that, I knew how much the word hurts him, and I go and call him that, I'm so stupid." Sebastian felt for the brunette and said
"Do you want Hunter and I to try and fix Niff?" Nick nodded his head yes and said
"Please, you of all people know why I can't live without Jeff." Of Sebastian knew why, he knew because he caught Nick with scars on his wrist. Sebastian knew the real reason why Nick can't live without Jeff. Hunter walked to Nick and Jeff's dorm, and knocked on the door, he waited and then when it opened he saw an annoyed Jeff. Hunter looked at Jeff and said
"Do you want Nick back?" Of course Jeff wanted Nick back, without him it would be so much. Jeff calmed down and said
"Of course I do Hunter, I didn't mean to say it, but I did, I'm stupid, why did I say that to him." Hunter felt sorry for the blonde standing in front of him and said
"Do you want Sebastian and I to fix Niff?" Jeff looked at Hunter and said
"Please, I can't live without Nick, and you know why Hunter." Hunter knew, he knew what Jeff went through just like Nick did. Hunter looked at Jeff and said
"Then you need to comeback to the library." Jeff was stubborn, and Hunter said
"Jeff you share a room with Nick, it's best to face him now, rather than when he goes into the dorm." As he said that, Jeff realised Hunter was right, so he reluctantly left the dorm, and followed Hunter back to the library where Nick and Sebastian still were. Sebastian looked up and saw Jeff walk in with Hunter, and then looked at niff and said
"I don't know what exactly happened for you to fight, nor do I want to know, but it is evident that you two want to bring Niff back." Nick and Jeff didn't look at each other, or Sebastian and Hunter then said
"We don't want another Niff fight." As he said that Sebastian said
"You two are going to take piece of paper each and write 10 things you hate about each other and hand them to Hunter and I." Sebastian handed them a pen and a piece of paper each, and they sat silently writing the list. Sebastian hoped it worked, he and Hunter hoped that Niff will be together again, because they knew that can't live without the other. As they hoped that, Nick and Jeff gave them the piece of paper, and read it. Sebastian then handed Jeff, nick's and Hunter handed Nick's Jeff's. And Sebastian then said
"Nick, I want you to read Jeff's list out loud." Nick lifted Jeff's list and read
"I hate that you know everything,
I hate that we share a dorm,
I hate that we cuddle when we watch movies,
I hate it when other guys talk to you, it makes me mad,
I hate the fact that you make me laugh,
I hate the fact that you make me smile,
I hate that you hug me,
I hate that our hugs are only friendly,
I hate that you aren't mine
And I hate that I love you."
As Nick read out Jeff's list, he looked at Jeff who blushed, and Hunter said
"Now Jeff, read out Nick's." Jeff lifted up the paper and read
" I hate that you are always there,
I hate that you always know what to say when I'm upset,
I hate the way you know me so well,
I hate that you can trust me,
I hate the way guys stare at you, it makes me angry,
I hate that you always protect me,
I hate that you are my friend,
I hate that our hugs are only friendly
I hate that I can't kiss you,
I hate that I love you."
As Jeff read the list, Nick blushed, and Sebastian
"I bet you those are the reasons you love each other." As he said that, Nick and Jeff looked at each, and kissed each other, and Nick said
"I love you." Jeff smiled and said
"I love you too."
At their love confessions, Hunter and Sebastian were quite pleased with themselves and left to go to McKinley to pick up their girlfriends, happy that they brought Niff back together and as a couple, even if they do owe Trent $100 each.
