Note: Marley never transferred and stayed at McKinley with Kitty, and her and Kitty are the captains
Marley walked out of class reading her book, when she bumped into Blaine who had graduated the year before. She up looked and said
"Sorry Blaine, I was reading my class set book, I wanted to get a head start on it" She closes her book and said
"what's up, how are the warblers?" Blaine made a face and said
"That's actually what I wanted to talk to you about, they are wanting to perform in the auditorium here. Rachel said they could, and she said that with you being one of the glee captains, you might like to see them perform." Marley smiled at him and said
"Of course I want to, the warblers are a respected show choir team, and you are their glee director Blaine. I can't say much for Kitty as she has been at cheerleading all day today, but I want to see them perform, they always out on good numbers and they have smooth dance moves as well" Blaine smiled at her and said
"That's great Marley, I'll can take you there now." Marley followed Blaine to the auditorium and said
"What song are they going to perform Blaine?" Blaine looked at her and said
"I don't know, last I knew they were still deciding, I told them to pick a song while I get one of the new directions captains, and Rachel recommended I get you to see them." Marley smiled sweetly and said
"Awe how sweet of her to recommend me for this." Blaine looked at Marley as they entered the auditorium, stopped her from walking and stood in front of her and said
"Just promise me something Marley Rose." Marley looked at him and said
"What is it Blaine?" Blaine sighed and said
"Just don't get too overwhelmed with them okay." Marley nodded her head and said
"Of course I won't." Blaine hugged her and said
"That's all I ask." They pulled apart the hug, and Blaine lead Marley to the stage, where the warblers were. when they reached the stage he said
"Guys." The warblers turned around from their group discussion to look at Blaine. Blaine smiled at them all and said
"This is Marley. She's one of the New Directions captain. Rachel and I invited her to watch you guys perform, so hopefully you chose a song already." They all smiled at her. But while Blaine was talking and introducing them to Marley. One particular boy in the Warblers already had his eye on her. He smiled sweetly at her, when she looked eyes with him. He then turned to Blaine and said
"We actually do have a song picked out to perform." As the warblers got into position on the stage, the head warbler walked over to Marley and Blaine. When he reached them, Blaine turned to Marley and said
"Marley this is Skylar, Skylar this is Marley." Skylar smiled widely at her and he said
"It's lovely to meet you Marley, I'm the warbler captain, and also a junior like you." Marley smiled sweetly at him and said
"It's lovely to meet you too Skylar. I can't wait to see what you and the warblers have prepared." Skylar looked at her and said
"Lucky for you, we are about to perform." As skylar walked away to get into position on the stage, he turned to face her and said
"Enjoy the performance Marley." Skylar then winked at her and then turned back around. Marley blushed when Skylar had winked at her, and walked with Blaine to the sits. as she did Blaine smirked at her and said
"Please tell me you knew Skylar was flirting with you." Marley blushed and said
"No he wasn't Blaine." Blaine sat next to her and Rachel, and said
"Yes he was. He's smitten after just meeting you." Marley looked down shyly and said
"I don't know Blaine." As she said that, she and Blaine looked towards stage, as they heard the start of My Sharona.
Marley watched in adoration, and loved the song. As they were singing, Skylar smiled at her and started singing to her like none of his teammates existed. As he was singing to her, Rachel smiled at Marley and she said
"Seems someone is smitten with you Marley Rose." Marley blushed and Rachel continued
"I say go for it Marley, if anyone in the glee club says anything, Blaine and I will stand up for you both." Marley watched on as Skylar kept singing to her and she turned to Rachel as when the warblers finished singing and said
"He's a warbler though, the captain. He could have any girl he wants. why would he want me, I'm just me." As she said that they hear
"It's because you're beautiful Marley." Marley and Rachel looked at each other and then towards the stage and saw that Skylar had hard her question. Skylar jumped off the stage, walked towards her and continued
"You're right, I could have any girl I want, but I want to get to know you more. Yes I'm captain of the warblers, and if we date. Glee won't come up into conversations. and if I need to, I will even transfer to McKinley for you." Marley was speechless, and gave Skylar a small smile and she said
"Really?" Skylar kneeled in front of her, took her hands and he said
"Really Marley. You're special. and I'll show you how special you really are, and you don't have to worry about me going to other girls, or even going to cheerleaders who I find fake, because even though we just met, all I see is you Marley, and you're always going to be put first with me, and I'll show you everyday how beautiful you are. if you let me and let us get to know each other better. Please?" Marley was even more speechless, and emotional at what Skylar had said. She gave him a real smile and said
"Okay." As they looked at each other, they heard a choruses of cheers. They looked at the stage and one of the warblers said
"What, he'll be more happier now. and don't worry girl, we won't judge or criticise you two at all. We'll defend your honour. but in all honesty how did we do performance and not just because Skylar is our captain." Marley gave a small giggle and said
"Performance wise, you did really well, and having Skylar as your captain. it's an excellent choice."
