Unexpected Visits

~Aurora~

It's been two days since what I call 'Royalty meets Designer' and let me say a lot has changed since then. I'm now stuck with the whispers and stares from my coworkers who worked with me that day. Sarah even found out from Jack, about what so call, went down before they were kicked out of the office.

Sarah and I did have a phone call later that day where I told her everything that actually happened and how Aiden and I decided to start over fresh. Speaking of Aiden, while we finally spoke over the phone, he told me how he's going south of the island for some time due to some issues with his family. And after seeing the way his brother act... I COMPLETELY understand. He's kind of a royal pain in the ass.

Currently, it's Wednesday, and according to my calendar, there are only four weeks and three days till Aiden gets married. I'm happy the country is getting their resources and such but do Aiden really have to get fake married to some random princess... It just seems a bit unfair to him.. but who I am to say.

Walking into Belle, I saw Miss Annabelle, who rarely comes down to the ground floor, standing in the middle of the store with a worried expression on her face. Strange

"Good morning," I said politely as I walked past her to enter the staff room.

"I need to speak to you, Aurora." She said regretfully.

Turning around, I gave her a confused expression. "What about?"I asked

"Follow me, love. Let's go some were private," she said walking away and turning into the hallway.

Looking at Sarah, I saw she was staring at me with a worried expression... oh my god am I getting fired already?... Damn bruh. What did I do this time?

Following Miss Annabelle into the lift, I stared down at the ground while disappointing thoughts flow through my mind.

"Rora" I heard her say sorrowfully.

"Yes?" I asked as I felt myself on the verge of tears.

"I'm sorry for what's about to happen to you but just know... Know you can personally come to me and speak of it. It's not something easy you're going to be dealing with soon." she said sincerely.

Looking up at her, I just pushed the tears back, nodded my head, and prepared myself to hear those words. The elevator dinged and she ushered me to come in, I did but once my feet hit the tiles, the aura of the room hit me like a ton of bricks.

The gloominess of the weather made her entire office look grey, the light and calming air were no more. It was all replaced with heaviness and the pep talk Miss Annabelle gave me a while ago didn't help this feeling... something is bound to go wrong.

Hearing the footsteps of Miss Annabelle, I looked in her direction and watched as she walked over to her desk, standing at the right side she looked over to her chair and nodded her head. Slowly the chair spun around and sitting there was the person I least expected to see today.

"You have to be kidding me," I said out loud... this is just unbelievable.

"Aurora" he called as he got up from the chair.

"Nope," I said turning around, walking towards the lift.

"Aroura please listen to him, it's important. Please I beg of you." Annabelle pleaded, making me stop.

I can tell by the way her voice sounded that this wasn't about him... it's something bigger, something that means a lot to her. At least I can say I'm not getting fired, I hope.
