Suspense
~Aurora ~
Walking past all these customers at Bellé was like walking through a fish market back home. People were screaming their orders at us, some yelling just to get someone's attention, and then others were crying. Why are they crying you may ask because they can't find their size, but let's be real, between me and you, they're a size thirteen trying to fit into a nine.
Can believe some of them are throwing tantrums because, ' The store doesn't supply this dress in my favorite color.', 'This isn't Chanel. Why are you guys so expensive?', 'The line is too long.'
As you can tell, people are very dramatic but then again, you can't blame them, I mean it is the Royal Wedding. As of today, the Royal Wedding countdown has begun, with only seven days to go.
Seven days to go, and this paper-looking ass boy has yet to call or even text me. Like what is wrong with Cotton Swab? Is he that busy to pick up his phone and use his no-purpose flour-looking ass fingers to say,' Hey, I'm okay,'
Rolling my eyes, I turned around to find Karen staring me down. Jump scare, Jesus, take the wheel right now.
"Can I help you ma'am?" I asked in my customer service voice, plastering a fake smile on my lips.
"Yes, you can. Belle is should out of the dress I want and all the others are way too expensive." She said with an attitude, pointing around the dresses in the store.
"Well ma'am, I'm sorry to hear that, if you like I can help you find another dress that is more suitable for your budget and suitable to your taste. Just tell me what -"
Interrupting me, she yelled, "NO! I don't want another dress. I already told you that my dress is sold out and everything here is to -"
Interrupting her back, I said, "Ma'am I heard you the first time, if you don't have any intentions of buying anything, then please leave. Clearly, our store is of no use to you or your wants. Hopefully, you can try another store and find the item you desire."
Walking away, I just left her there standing in a daze, I'm really not in the mood to get another headache today, so I just had to play her at her own game.
Anyway back to what I was thinking, I honestly can't be mad. I do see him on the television all the time. They have been following him like a lost puppy. Currently, as said on the news, 'The Crowned Prince of Neave is finishing up a tour of the county accommodated by the Royal family.'Royal family is aka Kaya parents. It is rumored that both of the royal families are to return to Neave later today. Now that I'm excited for.
"Stil not a good excuse to text a bitch" I whispered to myself softly.
Going over to the front desk, I plastered on a smile and served the customers who were ready to cash. I must say over the past few days, I've been experiencing some severe headaches and I don't know the actual cause. It may be the screaming or just how I've been overworking. Since everyone decided to do last-minute shopping, we are all working extra hours to pick up the pace.
After a long 10 hours and me skipping lunch, dealing with a few more Karens, I can surely say I'm exhausted to an extreme. My entire body feels like it's on fire and my feet are hella swollen. Saying my goodbyes to my co-workers, I finished gathering my things and was out the door in no time. Just as my left foot touched the ground outside, flashes of lights blinded my eyes causing me to instantly shield my face.
