I Am In Love

~Aurora~

"I can't believe they surround you like that. Rora, you could've gotten hurt with all those people. Dealing with those royals is truly a pain in the ass because..." Lily rambled on as we were folding some of my clothes to put into a stayover bag.

When Axel dropped me off this morning, we found Lily charging toward the car like a rhinoceros. Turn out, Lily's little nurse friends leaked information about my condition to her... well not all of them. 

After stopping her from slamming the Corwned Prince into a wall in public, I told her what actually happened. From then we decided that I'd stay over at her place for two nights just so she could keep an eye on me and for us to just relax a bit.

Now were sitting on my couch as she talked and I, craving a snack. Your girl needs one from all that nasty hospital food they were feeding me. 

"AURORA!" she shouted, snapping me back to the conversation. "Are you even listening?"

"I am. You're ranting about the royals. Hey Lily, can I ask you a question?" I asked turning to her, making sure I was asking in a serious tone. 

"What's up?" She asked sitting next to me, holding my hand with concern written all over her face. 

"Do you think you can get me a snack from the pantry?"

"Bitch! I was talking to you about something serious and that is what you made me stop-" Then she stopped talking and stared into space. 

Looking around the room, I looked behind to see what she was looking at before turning back to her again. "What is it?"

"What are your symptoms? She asked still staring at the spot behind me. 

What the hell is she doing? Is this some kind of Good Doctor moment?

"Um, what do you mean? Like when I'm in panic or how I have been feeling lately?" I asked 

"On a regular." 

"I just suffer some awful headaches and right now I'm craving a snack but I'm too lazy to get up" I whined

"They didn't proscribe the regular Xanax, which is weird because that would actually help, they just gave you the mello and signed you up for therapy. As far as I know, we only do that to women who can't take pills.. so on to my next question,"  she said finally turning to me with her eyes wide and lips pulled into a tight smile. 
"How far along are you?"

Letting go a defeated sigh, I shook my head and said, "You just love to ruin everything huh? I was gonna do some kinds cute tees that said ' Aunt to be' or something when the time came."

"Aurora this is serious," she said in a firm tone, "What are you going to do?"

Looking down I started playing his my bracelet. I stayed silent for a while before saying, " I know it's serious but I only have a few options. It's so early that it might not even make it, I could do the abortion. I mean I'm not ready for a kid but it is a consequence of my own actions, I'm honestly not ready."

"But then you'll practically be murdering the crown," she said as she grabbed my hand and rubbed it.

"Exactly, " I said while a frustrating sigh left my lips, "That led to my other option, I tell him, find a mutual ground and move from there. I did tell myself he doesn't have to know but then I bet one of the doctors might just tell him and then I don't know what kind of chaos that will lead to. So I honestly don't know what to do. "

We had a moment of silence before she nodded her head and said, " I think you just should do whatever you think is right. I know you and I know you would make the right decision for you. I'll support you no matter what Rora" 

Giving her a small smile, I nodded my head. Just as I was about to lean and lay on her, a knock on the door interrupted us. Lily got up and answered but as soon as she opened the door, Axel came barging in. 

Walking toward me, he lifted me up from the couch and instantly I wrapped my legs around his waist, looking at him confused. Does he know? Did someone tell him already?

"Hello to you too," Lily said closing the door.

Ignoring her, he looked into my eyes smiling widely, and said " I love you"
