Chapter fifteen

The next few days they spent doing absolutely everything they could together. Just being together was enough but Danny wanted to give Jess everything he could to make her happy, and she was completely happy. The two of them had never felt so content in their lives; alone here the whole world at there fingertips. Just each other to worry about; nothing had to be done it was all up to them. When Danny had Jessica in his arms the whole seemed to melt away; she was everything to him. All he needed to know was that she was his; that she was safe and happy. The way her skin felt against his gave him a high like he had the universe at his fingertips. To Danny she was the world; his world. For Jessica nothing was ever so easy as it was just being with Danny. He made her feel like she was home no mater where they went. It was like everything she was ever worried about or afraid of faded away when he touched her. Sam, work, any stress she felt, it all disappeared into his warm and gentle touch. Danny had become her escape from reality from everything. Falling in love had never been easy for her and yet Danny made it seem as if she had always had him there to comfort her, and that made her happy in so many ways. Yet she was so confused at the same time, and she didn't care. She jut wanted to spend the rest of eternity wrapped in his arms; never having to worry about anything going on around her. Once Jessica had woken up early leaving Danny to rest she decided to go for a hike around the property to get some photographs of the beautiful scenery. As she traveled along the lake side threw the trees and lush grass she came across an eagle soaring threw the sky. No where to be nothing to worry about so free. She longed so much to be that one sole eagle; to be free. Traveling the wind with no where to be. Jessica sat watching him fly around the skyline as the sun rose over the mountain tops. Just watching thinking of how much she wished her and Danny could stay here forever leaving their lives behind, and starting over again. Being with him out here made her so happy and yet she had to wonder if she made him as happy. She thought as she watched a pair of deer grazing in the meadow. The buck dancing around his doe, standing watch over her, nuzzling her every so often, never venturing far from her side. She seen so much of Danny in that buck; his protective nature so selfless as he cared for his mate. Come next season he would be on to a new mountain top and a new mate to protect. That scared her to think that could happen to her; to be left like the clueless doe grazing freely not taking into account his admiration. Jessica wanted to badly for Danny to stay, but something told her she wasn't good enough for him and he deserved more. When she returned to the house- her camera full and her mind like wise- Danny was still fast asleep, she decided not to wake him, and just crawled back in bed beside him turning her back to him.

Danny rolled over as the sun pored into the room the mountain breeze pushing the curtains into the room letting the scent of pine flow thew the air. He watched Jessica asleep they only had two more days here and he wanted to take in every inch of her beauty here while he could. She slept so soundly so at peace with the world, and he loved that he could make her feel that way. He leaned over to her wrapping his arm around her waist rubbing his thumb against her stomach. Kissing her shoulder letting his lips train closer to her feeling her soft skin. She hummed suturing in her sleep. Danny paused not wanting to wake her just yet. He kissed her shoulder again this time letting his lips sit on her warm flesh taking in her sweet sent; It intoxicated him. he let her role over under him as she took a deep breath. He kissed along her collar bone sucking lightly at her soft skin. She played like she was still asleep not wanting him to stop. Danny continued until he reached her ear moving her hair out of the way so that he could kiss at her neck.

"Hmm good morning." She whispered into his ear as she smiled.

"Oh so you are awake? ... Good morning baby doll. How did you sleep?" He laughed at her sweet half smile.

"Like a baby..." she wrapped her arms around his neck not letting him move from over top her.

"My baby." Danny kissed her neck again feeling her giggle against him "Don't move." he continued up her neck kissing every inch of her face avoiding her lips, leaving them for last to tease her. Jessica laughed as he past over her nose kissing the tip of it lightly. Then taking her bottom lip between his biting softly at it. She ran her tongue over his lip signaling him to kiss her deeper. Danny took the hint pushing his tongue into her mouth Tasting her sweetness. They lay there alternating between light pecks and deep passionate kisses until Jessica broke the kiss trying to get her words out in between Danny's kisses.
