"MATTHEWS!" ELENOR YELLED out. Elias' left fist made contact with Peter's head for the fifth time.

I watched in horror as Elias' body was hovering over Peter's while he beat him till his face had a few cuts and was beginning to be bloody. Peter was struggling on the ground helplessly as Elias was simply stronger than him.

Elenor was being held back by her friends. She was dying to get in there and save her beloved. "Get off of him!"

Elias threw a harder last punch towards his face before grabbing him by the collar and holding him against the lockers. "You tried to kill my fucking fiancé you fucking bastard."

Peter smiled mischievously and let out a psychotic chuckle. "I was trying to aim for the little prince. Guess I slipped."

Elias banged Peter's weak body against the lockers. I wanted to stop Elias from being so violent but who knows what could be insinuated by that. My identity was still safe, at least I hope it still was.

"Heard she's doing just fine."

Elias' grasp on Peter tightened.

"No thanks to you."

"You know what's funny? There's no hard evidence against me. I'm not going to be locked up. This isn't your country, your Highness."

Elias punched him once more for good measure before the Principal had come strutting down the hall to put a hold on Elias' violent rampage. Elias stepped away from Peter who was breathing heavily from his aggression. Elias followed the Principal and so did Peter.

Peter looked at me as he walked past. There was something in his gaze that rubbed me the wrong way. As if he just... won? But how could he when he looked bloodied up and weak?

Alice then ran up to me out of breath with the most concerned and worried look you could have ever seen. She hugged me tightly. I had already caught up with her after I left the hospital, why was she so distressed?

"You're out," she whispered in my ear.

"Out of what?" I nervously laughed. I felt my hair being pulled and realised they had taken my wig. My blonde hair was no longer as my brunette locks were released.

I felt the stares of the people in the hall pierce my back like sharp glass shards. It was suffocating as I felt the air close in on me. Alice took me away to a less crowded space.

"How?" That was all I asked.

"Peter." That was why he had looked at me with such pleasure. The sick cunt. "Do you want to leave?"

Apart of me wanted to say yes but I was tired of running. I had been running away from problems all my life, there wasn't a better place to start than now. This fear inside me had been blowing up like a balloon. I had to let go.

"Let's go to lunch."

The cafeteria could be heard from a mile away as it was the lively centre of the school. However, now it was full of hushed whispers as Alice and I walked in. The attention was bearable however the odd silence wasn't.

For the first time, people were moving to make space for me. They scattered like a flock of birds as we made our way to our spot in the cafeteria. Maybe it was an even worse idea to come into here. As we sat down, the attention from the people around us died down and faded. Like animals in a zoo, the tourists went on to their next attraction which were their phones.

I too went on my phone in anticipation of what the media had spread on the news so far. It is no surprise that it was on every media platform across the net.
