Some Secrets Are Out

*Still Amila's pov*

Both still looked at him in a awe state, but Jess did it more.

Angela: "We were just leaving."

They walked by me.

Angela: "Am, if you want...."

Edward: "I think I should make sure Amila gets something to eat.If you'd like."

I nod my head yes.

Edward: "I'll take you home myself."

I almost laughed at the girl's faces when he said that.

Angela: "That is so thoughtful."

Jess: "It's really thoughtful.Yeah."

Me: "Yeah.I should eat something."

They walked back to the car still facing me.

Jess: "Okay, so we'll see you tomorrow."

Angela: "See ya."

Me and Edward looked at each other, after they left.We walked to the restaurant.

*In The Restraunt*

We sat at a table and talked, then the waitress came with my food.

Waitress: "All right, one mushroom ravioli."

Me: "Thanks."

Waitress: "Yeah, no problem."

I saw her look at Edward, and I felt like I wanted to punch her.

Waitress: "So are you sure there isn't anything I can get for you?"

Edward just kept looking at me.

Edward: "No.No, thank you."

Waitress: "All right, let me know."

And she finally walked away.

Me: "Okay, were you following me?"

Edward: "I feel very protective of you."

Me: "So,you followed me."

Edward: "I was trying to keep a distance unless you needed my help, and then I heard what those foul creatures were thinking."

Me: "Wait.You say you heard what they were thinking?"

He softly laughs.

Me: "Come on,I told you one of my secrets."

I thought more about what he said,then it hit me.

Me: "You read minds?"

Edward: "I can read every mind in this room.Apart from yours..There's money, sex, money, sex, cat...And then you,nothing.It's very frustrating."

Me: "Well, I know why you can't read my mind."

Edward: "Why?"

Me: "Because not only can I move stuff with my mind, but I can also control other people's minds, and I'm also a mental and physical shield."

He looked at me,then down.

Me: "What is it?"

Edward: "I don't have the strength to stay away from you anymore."

I took his hand in mine.

Me: "Then don't."

He held my hand, then sighed.
