Edward's Family

*Amila's pov*

I was outside washing my car,I know Billy is supposed to be stopping by before he sees Charlie.

Anyway Edward is on top of my car, but then he jumps off.

Edward: "I'm gonna take you to my place tomorrow."

Me: "Wait, like, with your family?"

Edward: "Yeah."

Me: "What if they don't like me?"

Edward just smiles at my question.

Edward: "You already have my siblings loving you, meanly Rosalie.And I know my parents are going to love you."

We talked a little more,but stopped when he heard something.

Me: "What is it?"

Edward: "Complication."

He kissed me,then started walking to his car.

Edward: "I'll pick you up tomorrow."

After he left, Billy pulled up, who also had my godson with him.

Me: "Hey Billy!"

He smiled, and waved.

Billy: "Hey, Amila!"

We haven't told Jacob about me being his godmother yet, we will when he phases.

Me: "Hey, Jacob."

Jacob smiles.

Jacob: "Hi."

We went inside and talked.

The next day,after Edward picked me up.It took us a couple of minutes to get to his house.But when we got there,I looked around.We went inside,and he helped me take my coat off.

Me: "This is beautiful.I love it how it's so light and open it is, you know?"

Edward: "What did you expect, coffins and dungeons and moats?"

I decided to joke around.

Me: "No, not the moats."

Edward: "Not the moats."

He chuckled a little bit,while we went upstairs.

Edward: "This is the one place we don't have to hide."

We started to walk upstairs, I started hearing opra music.

Edward: "I told them not to do this."

Me: "If you mean that, mouth watering smell.Then I'm glade they didn't listen to you."

Edward: "Why?"

I laughed

Me: "Because it's making me hungry again."

We just laughed.

*3rd person's pov*

Edward's family was cooking a special dinner for Amila.Rosalie couldn't wait for her new best friend to come.She wanted everything to be great,she was starting to stress out.

Carlisle: "Rose, I'm sure she will love it."

They looked up when they smelt Amila's scent.

Rose: "Here she comes!"

They laughed at Rose's excitement.Esme walks over to Amila and Edward.

Esme: "Amila, we're making Italiano for you."

Amila: "So, that's what that mouth watering smell is."

They all smiled proudly at her complement.

Edward: "Amila, this is Esme.My mother for all intents and purposes."

Amila smiled,and said in Italian' Your house is beautiful.Esme smiles, then says in Italian'Thank you'

Carlisle: "You've given us an excuse to use the kitchen for the first time."

Esme: "I hope you're hungry."

Amila: "Well, I already ate.But then I got hungry again when I smelt that Italiano."

Everyone laughed,after awhile Rose hugged Amila.Edward smiles, then laughs at his parents shocked faces.After they hugged,Alice and Jasper showed up,and jumped off of a branch.Alice came in smiling.

Alice: "Hi, Amila."

Amila: "Hi."

Alice hugged her to, Jasper stood back but alittle more relaxed.Alice moved back.

Alice: "Oh,You do smell good."

Edward started getting embarrassed by his family's actions.

Edward: "Alice, what are you..."

Alice: "It's ok.Amila and I are going to be great friends."

Rose: "Nope, she's my best friend.Go find your own."

That made everyone laugh, Amila saw Jasper standing like a statue.Carlisle saw her looking at Jasper confused.

Carlisle: "Sorry,Jasper's our newest vegetarian.It's a little difficult for him, though probably not as much because your not human all the way."

Jasper: "It's a pleasure,to see you again."

Alice: "It's okay, Jasper.You won't hurt her."

Edward looks at his family completely embarrassed,then looks at Amila.

Edward: "All right,I'm gonna take you on a tour of the rest of the house."

Amila: "Okay."

Rose looks at Amila smiling.

Rose: "Well, I'll see you soon."

Amila: "Okay!"

Then they left.
