Were arguing in the night they thought Petey wasn't hearing them ....

Ralph: I am so done with this family! I hate Petey! Thanks to him my happiness is over why did he have to come to ruin my life?

Sydney: don't you dare say that about our son! He is not doing anything wrong he's just a kid for goodness sake!

Ralph: Shut up! That piece of trash crybaby is not my son! He's your son I hate you!, And this family I was happy before!

Ralph slaps and pushes Sydney away after he realized what he did he ran to a bar (No this is not when he leaves)

Sydney enters Petey's room hoping he's asleep and sees her son crying on his bed under some blankets

Petey POV:

I heard them fighting did dad really hate me that much?
I cried more sadness and thoughts ran through my head.

Mom probably hates me too

Dad will never love me

I ruined their life

I am the worst son ever.

Petey felt a bit better but he still cried as his mom rubbed his back she tried to assure him everything would be alright. Deep down not even she was sure things would be alright.
