It's time for a somewhat cute chapter <3 Anyways have fun 🧍🏻‍♀️(unrelated but i ship johnny and gyro)

After a while of both of us talking, we stopped near a river. I got off his horse. "Can you move the luggage for me? I'll go clean myself a bit in that river." I asked him. "Sure." He got off too and started rearranging our stuff.

I went down to the small river. It wasn't very big. Just about 5 meters wide and very shallow. I touched the water with my hand. It was pretty chilly. The sun was shinning and the weather was warm. So I decided to take off my shoes and put my feet in for a little.
I took them off and threw my socks and shoes on the grass near me.

The water reached little below my knees, so I had to hold my pants up. I wanted to cross to the other side and look for some cool stones in the river. I knelt down and started looking for some shiny ones...

After some time I remembered that Diego was waiting for me. "Fuck, I forgot!" But when I turned back, I saw him laying on his back on the green grass with his eyes closed. The sun was making his golden hair shine bright. I've never thought about it, but he was actually really attractive... "Guess that's why so many people like him-" "What are you looking at? I was kind of tired... Come here take a small break with me." He signed to the place on the grass next to him. I immediately got out of my thoughts. I walked back to the other side of the river and jumped on the fresh grass near him. "Look at what I found." I got out the crystals I picked up out of my pocket. "Huh? What is it now?" He yawned and turned to his side to look at me. I showed him the pretty stones. "Do you like them? There are a lot of these in here... I'll let you keep one or two if you want." I told him. "Mmm, yes they are pretty. I think I'll choose this one. Can I?" He pointed at one pale cyan crystal. "Yeah, here you are!" I happily gave it to him...

Diego's pov:

That one day with her felt nice.. She wasn't even mean to me. Spending time with her was really pleasant. She even gave me from her crystals. It was sweet coming from a person like her. "There must be another way around.." I didn't want to trade her for the eye.
"Is the water in the river cold?" I wondered. "Hmm, not really. It's just a little chilly." She laid on her back next to me. We traveled all night and we had a lot of time to spare...

"Diego, are you really married?" She asked me out of the blue. "Eh... Well I guess you've heard the rumors... Yes I was, but I divorced after she died. If that's what you want to know. And also, that's a really weird question I'd say~" I joked trying to change the topic. "I see..So it really is true... Did you really kill her-?" She whispered. I sighed.. "What if I tell you that I did kill her? Would you still think the same about me or would you not?" I asked her. "...It depends if you are honest or not." She looked at me. "Then yes, I killed her." There was a moment of silence. "I'm happy that you didn't lie to me." she was relieved. "Anyways, I kind of want to play in the water again," she got up. "What? Are you a kid-" I suddenly flew to the small river. It was her stand. I was quick to react and landed on my feet. "What was that for! You could have asked me to just get in the water with you!" My clothes were now wet and I was really pissed off. "But I get to see you all wet now! Isn't that fun." She laughed it off and jumped in the water and splashed even more on me. "Now that's not really fun if you ask m-" She jumped towards me and got us down in the water. We were soaking wet. "Too bad we are now both drenched!" She laughed and got off me. I couldn't lie, it was kind of fun. I let out a giggle. "See! It's nice having fun, isn't it!" she splashed me with water again. Then I had a thought.. "Have anyone really had fun with me..?"...

We continued playing together. I think.. I was happy. And It wasn't because of money or something materialistic.. The last time I felt this feeling was when I was really young. I remember walking with my mom while holding her hand... I couldn't even recall this lost memory of her I had. So I just let this thought go away.
