I was surprised that he would give up on his own memories just for me and our future. "Okay then.." He yawned and closed his eyes once again. "Goodnight Diego." I quietly murmured, shut my eyes and drifted off to sleep.

Next morning
I was about to make breakfast as usual, lucky that the kitchen was stocked with food. There was a stove and gas hot plates. I was just wondering what to make and then I felt a hug from behind. "Good morning." A whisper in my ear. "Diego.. you started getting up earlier." I smiled. "Have I? Maybe I just don't want to miss out anything with you." He said. These words definitely made me feel something. I turned around. "You're adorable. What do you want for breakfast?" I looked at him. He was sleepy and his eyes half closed, it was such a sight.. "Let's see.. You? That'd be good." He yawned. I chuckled. "Alright then, I'm making you pancakes again." I turned around and started preparing, ignoring his horny ass. "Sure, that's good too." He walked to the sofa and laid down, closing his eyes.
I quietly made our breakfast, then carried the pancakes with honey jam to the table where Diego was chilling at.
He sat up and stretched. "Smells tasty." He murmured. I sat next to him and placed one in my plate. I put honey on it, rolled it and took a bite out of it. It was good. Diego followed my example. "Mm, yeah, it's good." He sounded content. "You really do enjoy eating." I smiled at him. "Yes, I appreciate all food, what if maybe one day I won't get any again." He said it like it was nothing and took another bite.. "Oh- I see, I'm sorry for mentioning this." I felt bad about it. "No need to be sorry. I don't need no pity about it. My childhood made me into the person I am right now, and I'm glad I had to grow up at such young age." He stated. "Yeah.." I looked away. "Maybe that led me into meeting you. You mean a lot to me. Thank you for everything you've done for me.." He quietly muttered out. I quickly looked at him. It was so rare to hear him thank anyone. These words really meant something more. My eyes shone. "What are you looking at? It's not that much of a speech." He was too precious. "I would have given you one massive kiss if you didn't have honey all over your mouth." I chuckled. "Really?" He quickly took a napkin and tried wiping his lips. "What about now?" He asked. "I was joking-" "And I'm not." He leaned towards me and stole a little kiss. "Clingy too much? I admit that I like it though.." I continued eating my pancake. "I just love admiring you and expressing my feelings. I don't see the problem." He said. I sighed. "You don't say those things very often." I smiled. "I'm glad you appreciate it."

After eating our breakfast and getting our stuff back on the horses, we were ready to set off.
