Helloo. I just wanted to say that it's getting quite harder for me to post new chapters, but that doesn't mean I intend to abandon this story. I will try writing more chapters at once in my free time.. Have fun <33

We had our things packed up and we set off for the finish line.
"This stage sure felt like an eternity.. Although a lot of things happened too." I thought to myself. I looked up at the sky, taking a deep breath and trying to relieve all the stress. Johnny and Gyro were still in the house, getting ready. I was satisfied with what I've accomplished so far. Second place behind Diego was incredibly good. I let him in first place since I knew that I could surpass him at any time. After all I wasn't there for money or fame.. At that point, I started to forget why I was there. Was it just love or was it something else, I'll probably never find out. I was asking myself endless questions all the time, even though I didn't know the answers of any of them. That feeling was terrible.. But on the other side it felt so great. I finally found myself a.. boyfriend, a lover? Although it wasn't going to be for so long.. he still made me happy. "I remember when Ante used to ask me about school life and my crushes all the time.. Love was never in my interest however. But why now.." That was the moment that I realized how much I've changed. "I started the race as being an unreliable, self-centered and lousy teenager, who just started her last year at school, and now, not even at the end of it, I've matured so fucking much.." I smiled to myself, I was relaxed. "What's up Y/N? Is something bothering you?" Diego immediately noticed and looked back. "I'm all fine, what about you?" I asked him. "Huh- Well, I'm fine too. Sweet of you to ask about me." He smiled and turned to look to the front again. "Damn it, he's cute." Him being worried about me made me blush.
I was smiling to myself, having some sweet thoughts when he turned to look at me again. "Y/N, you're losing speed and we have just about an hour till this stage's finish line. Can you think about that stuff once we finish?" He had a stern voice, surprisingly keeping a serious expression while saying the last sentence. "Yes, sir." I jokingly replied. I was having a great time and was in a good mood. He sighed. "You're unbelievable." He murmured. Mission completed, target successfully annoyed.

Diego's pov:

I gave up on dealing with her. "Hm.. Well if I was her I'd think about that too. Yesterday was way too much fun." I thought to myself. "She's way too precious.. She let me make love to her before marriage and it was her first time.. I must be lucky. I can't believe that she really loves me.. like real love, finally." It felt good to remind myself about that. "Even if I don't win, my first priority will be her. I can't let her go. Although, it's just too good.. God will always find a way to fuck me up." I bit my lip in frustration. "It's just the way the world works.. When there's a moment of happiness, it would always be followed by misfortune." I was thinking about it.. "Oh, and when Johnny and Gyro showed up yesterday, that made me certain of Sandman's death." Suddenly I realized Y/N had already caught up with me. "Hey. Sup?" She said with a delightful smile, speaking some weird phrases again. "Sup? What's the translation of this now?" I wondered. "Oh, it's What's up, but it's shorter." She told me. "Fine, thanks." I replied. Y/N was always saying strange words and had to explain them to me.. Some of them I could remember..

Elmao (lmao) - she said she can't say because it has a swear word in it, but said it's short for laughing. Doesn't make any sense.
Sus - this one was easy, it's just suspicious.
Pog- she said I should never use this one because it was "outdated". You say it when someone does an amazing job..
Slay- she says this a lot. She told me that it was a way to tell someone they amused you by their badass-girlboss actions.
Girlboss- A female acting independent and very cool.. I mean, I can quite get the connection with "boss".
Sigma - I'm just really confused about what that is.
