"We can do this some other time too.." I told her. "Hmm?~ Am I really that good?" she chuckled. "Shut up." I felt embarrassed. "Damn. Anyways.. It's quite cold this night too... So I was wondering if we could-" "Yeah, let's sleep together again." I got to the point...

Y/N's pov:

He got in the tent and put his blanket over him. I was still standing outside. I felt awkward. "Come on, come here. Why are you staying there?" He asked. "Uhh, I don't know." I hesitated but got in too. I sat next to him. "What's up? You can lay down too." He grabbed me and put the blanket over.
We stayed in silence. "Y/N, I've actually got something to ask you." he said out of nowhere. "What is it, Diego?" I asked. "What's your real reason for joining the race?" He turned to his side facing me. "...I've already partly told you but...I wanted to escape my life as a daughter of a rich family and get more interesting and engaging one." I answered him. "So seeking fun is your goal? You don't want money? You just don't wanna be bored? That's weird." He doubted it. "Yes, I know that it may sound strange, but I really don't have any other reason.. And you are right, I'm really seeking for some fun in this race." I guess, I told him the truth. "If that's all there is to it, then I would like to ask you a favor..." He began. "..What is it?" I questioned. "It's a lot to ask, but.. Help me win the race. Would you be willing to do that?" He boldly said. "..Wow, you want my help?? Never expected you to do so. Though.. Why not, I have nothing to lose." I agreed to it. "Mm, good. Thanks." he hugged me. "I uhm-" "Let's sleep now and be the first ones to arrive at the 4th stage~" He shut me up. "Okay, goodnight.." I closed my eyes and tried sleeping. "Is it really okay if I help him... But who cares, if something goes wrong I can always turn back the time... Even tho I don't want to abuse my powers that much..." I was thinking about random stuff. "I really want to see Johnny.. Did he really mean that he liked me?? But, I'm not even sure how I feel about him yet. Maybe I'll figure out once we meet again..."

After some time, I slowly fell asleep.

The next morning..

I woke up to Diego missing.. "Huh-? Diego?" I got out of the tent to see where he was. I looked around and there was no one, only his horse. "Hmm.. I'm sure he is fine, is he?" I got sort of worried. I decided to wait for him while I pack up the luggage.

Five minutes passed and he still wasn't back. I had already packed up all our stuff.
"Diego! Where are you?!" I tried calling out for him, but still no answer. Then I heard noises. I turned around and saw him running out of the forest. "Diego?-" I was confused, he was holding on to something. He stopped running and approached me. I could now make out what he had in his hands. "Y/N... I got up earlier this morning. I was hungry and knew that you'll be too, so I went searching for food. Look what I found." He held out 4 chicken eggs. "Wow, that's lucky!" I got a closer look. "Yeah, thought you could make something for breakfast." He gave them to me. "Yup, fried eggs may be good, and the fire is still on. But where did you find them?" I was curious. "I found them in a nest and picked them up. I heard you shouting and headed back here." He explained. "Hmm, okay." I started cooking the eggs.
After a while, they were ready to eat. I gave two to him and the other ones to me. We began eating.
"Mmm.. It's good.. as expected." He chewed on the egg. "Is that a compliment?" I smiled. I always thought that my cooking wasn't that good. "Certainly." He took another bite...
After eating, we got on our horses and started running towards the goal. This time I was going to let him get ahead of me and win the first place. We still had an hour or two, but we kept a really fast pace.
"Soo... I never asked but what will you do with all that money if you were to win the race, Diego?" I wondered. "Money makes me feel happy and 50 million dollars give you a lot of power. If you continue making me food and helping me out, I would spoil you with those 50 million too." He laughed. "Woww, don't need your money! I already have 🙄💅🏻." Go girl, girlbosses never use a man's money 😎. "Okay, but you will cook for me again right?" He asked. "That really depends! But you haven't been that annoying lately... So, maybe.🗿" He kind of deserved it since he let me ride him as a dinosaur. "That's all I wanted to hear!" He laughed. He was sometimes fun.
