We walked over to the lounges to put our things down. Through the big window I could see high up the mountains. It was really pretty.
"So you like it?" Diego came to me, put his hand around my waist. "Yeah, I do. The architecture is appealing and the views are fascinating." I exclaimed. "I'm glad.. I think it's time now." He suddenly picked me up bridal style. "Huh-?!" I saw him walking to the edge of the pool. "Hey, no! Let me go!" I shouted. He was just about to jump in when I immediately teleported behind him in the air. "Got you!" He suddenly turned around and grabbed my leg, jumping inside with him.
"Eh?" I expected the water to be colder. It was spring water..
"You little bi-" "Don't. Call me. A female dog. Because I'm a male." He cut me off. I took a deep breath. "If you-" "Shh, calm down. Yes, that's right, breath in and out." He seemed to be having a lot of fun. "Ok. Could you please not interrupt me while I'm talking?!" I splashed him with water. "Ah, fine, fine! Don't be upsett-" He laughed. "Not funny, didn't laugh." I crossed my arms. He sighed, as if he was thinking of something. "Do you remember when we were at that little village in the mountains? Back when you were with Johnny and Gyro." Diego got closer to me, looking at me kind of intense. "Yeah.. Before the incident with the dinosaurs? Yes, what about it?" I was confused.. it was such a long time ago. "Johnny.. before I came in the room, what did he say to you?" He asked worriedly. "W-what? I don't know.." I couldn't remember much. "Try and think. I now remembered something." Dio urged me. "Uhh.. Well.. He was saying some stuff about love and other things-" "Be more specific." I tried thinking harder. "I remember.. He was saying that I was always nice to him andd.. said cute things about him?" I told him. "No, not this. I overheard the conversation, a bit. But back then I thought nothing of it. But now it all makes sense. The thing he said about you not being normal." He bit his lip. "..Oh! He told me.. That I was coming from a whole another universe, that there was something weird about me. That I was being mysterious and unpredictable. That's the only thing I remember. It was 3 months ago." I said. He stayed in silence. "I see.. Yes.. I too remember this. He caught up to it. He was suspicious of you. Johnny knew something was off, had he observed you more, he would have found out about your other ability. Damn it.. he wanted to know about that enigma of yours." He looked away. Diego seemed.. bothered by it. "Y/N, when you were with them, in Mackinaw, did they..no, did he ask you something?" "No- We didn't have time at all. It's fine Diego. He doesn't know anything, he was just saying it because of my appearance!" I laughed it off. "Yeah.. maybe." He calmed down.

After a while of having fun together in the pool, we decided to go upstairs to our room.

It was about 7pm.

I was undressing myself in front of the bathroom when he walked in. "Hey, wanna bath together?" I looked back. He had a towel on. "I got your stuff from your backpack.. I wondered if you could shower my hair too." Diego requested. "Oh- sure." I agreed.
We got in the shower. He turned on the water. "Alright you can sit down so I can wash your hair." I told him. Dio did as I said. I proceeded to put shampoo and rinse it with water until it was clean. He then got up. "Let me do it for you too.." quietly said. I nodded and sat on the floor. His touch was.. so soft and awesome. I enjoyed it so much.
After he rinsed it off, he knelt down behind me. He suddenly hugged me, his hands weren't touching me anywhere inappropriately..It was just a hug. "What is it, Diego?" I was confused, and quite surprised. "Just enjoying this moment. The last time we did that was when we first travelled together. You were so mean to me.." He kissed my neck. His voice was very gentle. "Yeah, I remember..." I smiled. I still couldn't help, but feel sad.. He was feeling down again. I turned around to hug him back. "I miss those-" I stopped my sentence as I saw tears running down his face. He never showed his weak side to me. "Hey! Don't cry, please. Everything is gonna be fine, I promise." I hugged him and placed my head on his shoulder. "Right, sorry." He ran his fingers through my wet hair...
