"Let me go, let me go," the kid screams as they're being hauled inside by Steve. He sets the girl down in the chair in front of my desk.
"Fallon! Nice of you to come see me. How was Ohio? How are your grandparents?" She rolls her eyes at me and turns her attention to the bird on the windowsill. I sensed that something was wrong when we were on the camping trip, I waited for her to come talk to me but the day never came. She had gone on her trip to Ohio shortly after and made up every excuse as to not come to the 3rd floor, where she usually was. "Sweetheart, what's wrong? Is everything okay?" I ask, much of the staff had voiced their concerns about her, she was quieter, she rarely spoke to her friends anymore, she preferred to stay in a corner and read.
I waited for her answer but it never came.
"I brought you something," I announce taking the neatly wrapped gift out of the desk drawer. "Go ahead open it." I watch as she carefully unwraps the gift. I watch a smile rise when she sees what's inside. "I was in Orlando for some business, and because you've never been to Disney, I thought I'd bring a little back to you," I smile as she inspects the mouse ears, keychain, mug and tote bag.
"Thank you, I love it," She sniffles and starts to cry. I jump up to comfort her.
"You can talk to me about anything Fallon, are you safe? Is anyone hurting you?" I ask concerned, she nods her head no, "Do you promise to come to me when you're ready to talk?" I stick out my pinky, she nods her head and makes a pinky promise. I wrap my arms tightly around her, feeling as if she needed it.

"Do I have Bagels?" I ask Steve as we approach the bread.
"Y/N, I am head of your security detail, not your assistant," He says lightheartedly. I stare at him, knowing that he was already aware that I ran out. "I ate the last one this morning," he gives up and throws a bag of bagels in the cart.
"Grab the wheat kind too, Jason and Lionel like those," He throws in another bag. "Nats coming back today, so let's get some flowers and I think we're done,"
"Chris?" I ask the familiar-looking man, deciding on which flowers to get.
"Y/N! Long time!"
"Yes, what happened? You just up and disappeared one day,"
"My girlfriend told me she was pregnant and I decided to take time to focus on our little family,"
"I didn't know you had a girlfriend. That's great, congratulations! Boy or girl?"
"A beautiful little boy," he smiles, he pulls out his phone to show me pictures. "He's almost 3,"
"He's adorable, are you planning on anymore?" I ask to avoid the awkwardness of the conversation going dull.
"Yes actually, the first pregnancy was so hard for her though so we're looking to adopt. Hopefully, someone who's already out of diapers," he laughs.
"that's great! I know a wonderful woman, Miss Robinson. She runs what you can call an orphanage, I'd love to introduce you if you'd like,"
"We would love that," he brightens up. We exchange numbers and wave goodbye.

"Y/N," Natasha calls out as she enters.
"Up here," I scream from her bedroom, her footsteps come up and she throws her things on the floor as she changes into more comfortable clothes.
"What did you do?" She smirks.
"Whatever do you mean?"
"Somehow a video of AOCs secretary bad-mouthing her has surfaced, would you happen to know anything about that?"
