Since this book is coming to an end I thought I'd give you guys some fun facts/ original plot lines.
1. The idea for this story came to me while listening to The demo version of National Anthem by Lana Del Rey
2. My original plan was to write like a remake of what happened on January 6th and write Y/N and her mother to be 'American hero's' but I thought it would be insanely dramatic for what I was going for.
3. If Devin suddenly seemed close with Y/N in some chapters it's because he was originally a much bigger character. They were supposed to get close when Y/N and Sydney hooked up but I deleted that part and mixed the chapters cuz I felt that it was dragging the story.
4. After a year of not talking Y/N and Natasha were supposed to bump into each other at one of her mothers parties where Natasha convinces Steve to lock her in a room together so they could talk.
5. In the same plot line (4), Sydney and Wanda were supposed to get together after a threesome that they had with Y/N to make her forget about Natasha.
6. If you've ever seen the ski lodge episode from Boy Meets World, I was going to do a version of that where Wanda and Y/N reminisce about the past and ultimately cheat on their partners. Didn't go with that cuz it would've been unnecessary Drama.
7. I deleted a Wanda smut piece that was supposed to open after the '1 year later' thing and Natasha was supposed to walk in because she was a client.
8. I also thought that maybe Y/N would recognize that she wasn't really into politics and fall into the arts and become a famous actor or something but that was stupid so I made another story (shameless plug) A star is born!!
9. Fun fact actually really really sad fact... There's a lot of religious symbolism in this because while writing I was going through a lot of religious guilt 😂 anyway I reworked the lines and characters and I'm making it into a very short film to fit that narrative.
Not a fun fact just a fact. I'm writing another fic about being a mafia bosses daughter and Natasha goes undercover. It's also in 3rd person so you never really know what anyone is thinking and it's so mysterious.
