The Housewife

"We're here with Senator Romanoff and Y/N Phoenix, good morning you two," the interviewers introduce us to the viewers.

"Good Morning Kelly," We say together.

"All right, I'm not going to bore the audience with the standard questions I'll just get right to it," Kelly adjusts her body to point straight to us, "Senator, you're sporting new jewelry I see," She says, a recording of 'oohs' and 'ahs' play from the speakers.

Natasha holds her hands out to show off the new ring, the diamond was bigger and it had small red rubies surrounding it, I had to add them since it was her favorite color.

"Beautiful," Kelly awes over it, "this is a different one than we have seen though, is that right?"

"Yes, she took the other one away from me," Nat jokes.

"I didn't think it matched her," I explain through a laugh, "I wanted her to be my wife so bad that I was hasty in picking out the right ring."

"And when will you be able to call her your wife? Is there a date yet?" Kelly says with a big smile on her face.

Natasha and I turn to face each other and then back at Kelly. "Soon," I answer.

"Who was that?" Natasha asks as I hang up the phone.

"Harper, she saw the interview this morning and wanted to congratulate us."

"Edens wife?" She scrunches her face in confusion, watching me pull up my pants from our previous activities. "Have you ever even had a conversation with her?" she laughs.

"I just did," I joke, "Eden probably told her to call, they're sending a gift since they can't make it to the engagement dinner."

"You sent them an invitation? Why didn't I know about it?"

"Because you would've cracked a joke about how we could make him jealous, even though he isn't....anymore. And it was only right to invite them, they sent us an invitation to theirs," I explain, "Did Sydney and Wanda text yet?"

"Yeah on their way, your mom is already there," She says looking at her phone. I spoke to them afterward to apologize and they forgave me, given that I was a bit drunk and cried in a fetal position until they did. "They're all going to be mad when they find out."

"Not if they don't find out," I respond, leaning in to peck her lips. "Because they will literally kill us both if they do."

"Mmm come here Mrs.Romanoff," She says pulling me into a much longer and much more passionate kiss.

The day I proposed we went out for a celebratory dinner, we got to talking about how we couldn't wait to be married so we didn't wait. We pulled the strings we had at the courthouse and got married that night but of course, we had been so wrapped up with each other that we forgot about what our family might've missed.

That's when we came up with the plan not to tell them, however, we didn't want a huge wedding with the press and people we hadn't seen or heard from in years so we decided it would be an intimate affair with our closest family members and friends and nobody would ever need to find out.

We walk out of the bedroom to wait for Sydney and Wanda to our surprise we're already sitting on the couches.

"How long have you guys been here?" I ask realizing that Nat and I had been really loud just a few moments ago.
