Naruto stood there.
Thoughts circling around in his head.

Naruto couldn't imagine that, even though it just happened.
Sasuke and Naruto always hated each other.

Although they used to be childhood best friends....

Flashback
"Sasuke!" Naruto runs over to Sasuke and gives him a big hug.
"Naruto?" Sasuke was startled as Naruto jumped on him.

"Yup thats me!" Naruto grins.

"Oh, you scared me there" Sasuke crosses his arms and pouts.

"Hehe, my bad!" Naruto grabs Sasuke's wrist and drags him.

"Hey! Naruto! Where are we going?!" Sasuke said trying to keep up with Naruto.

"Somewhere!" Naruto grins.

After 5 minutes of being dragged by Naruto, they finally arrived at a small waterfall.

Sasuke looks up mesmerized.
"Woah, its so cool" Sasuke scans the waterfall.

"Isn't it?" Naruto sat down on a big rock.
Sasuke sat next to Naruto, and they both watch the water flow.

"Hey Sasuke?" Naruto looks down.

"Hn?"

"Will we be friends forever?" Naruto was still looking down, but this time fidgeting with his fingers.

Sasuke stares at Naruto.

"Thats a dumb question" Sasuke sighs.

Naruto frowns.

"Haha, of course we will." Sasuke nudges Naruto's shoulder a little.

Naruto looks up and smiles.
"Promise?" Naruto grinned.

"Promise" Sasuke lays back.

Although he didn't keep that promise.

Years passed by, Sasuke started to grow apart from Naruto.
His popularity took him away. Sasuke even started to bully Naruto.
It wasn't beating or anything, he insulted him, and hit him a few times.

Naruto didn't understand what happened to his best friend. Naruto eventually forgot about Sasuke, he had better friends. Naruto started to hate Sasuke, he hated that he broke his promise they had made years ago.

Teachers found it odd as well. The two use to be inseparable.
If you took another away, the other would fight to get the other back, they were like children, when it came to each other. When they stopped talking to each other, stopped hanging out. The teachers were quite worried. Their friendship was great. Many teachers even tried to get them back together, but that never would work. It would always end with them yelling at each other or throwing stuff.

Teachers eventually just gave up. Their friendship was long gone.

Sasuke was hanging out with his group, when a certain blonde stumbled across them.

Sasuke and Naruto both noticed each other and growled under their breath.
Naruto clenched his fist and walked off, or so he tried.

Naruto was stopped by a male with white, blue hair, and his teethy kind of reminds him of a shark.
He stood in front of Naruto blocking his way. Naruto groans and looks up.

"What do you want?" Naruto just wanted to meet with his friends.

The male stared at him
"Where do you think your going blondie?" The male pushed him back.

"Lunch, where else shark teeth" Naruto groans pushing the male back.

"What did you say?" The male growled.

"Relax it really isn't even that deep" Naruto slid his hand through his hair.

"Suigetsu, lets go" a male said with his hands in his pockets.
They both turn their attention to Sasuke.
Naruto bit his lip and pushed Suigetsu once more before walking off.

"Come one Sasuke, you have a soft spot for that blonde?" Suigetsu walked up to Sasuke and crossed his arms.

Sasuke scoffs.

"We shouldn't waste our time on stupid things." Sasuke growls.

"Hmm. Sure, just admit it, you have a soft spot. Suigetsu smirks.

"Come on Suigetsu, lets listen to Sasuke, and lets go. A girl said.

"Whatever Karin" Suigestsu groans.

End of flashback

Naruto sighs maybe he should talk to Sasuke. I mean they used to fight all the time now Sasuke says he's jealous?

Naruto puts his jacket on and walks back home.
