Ruma blinked as she woke up from being carried by the Bear beast guard. She gently rubbed her fingers across his chest, the shirt he wore was cut low, showing where his body morphed from human to animal, the warm tanned skin of his human side, peeking out from under the shirt as it slowly faded into the thick dark fur, showing his more beastial nature.

Ratok's eyes flickered down to her "I was wondering if you were going to wake up tonight," tilting his head, watching her for a couple of steps, before popping his head back up. Shifting her up in his arms more.

Ruma wobbled her head about, searching to see where they were at. He was already on the top floor of her tower. The darkness outside made the halls like an absent void. Though the occasional light would illuminate a small portion of the navy blue floors and walls, then disappear back into the darkness.

He walked her into her room. Laying her down on the bed. As she spent more time being held she slowly started to wake up more and more. It wasn't long before she could crawl from where he had placed her and perch herself at the edge of the bed watching him move about the room.

"Need anything?" he looked over his shoulder at her.

Ruma shook her head no, she realised what he was doing as she watched him. He was one of the guards after all- Ratok was rechecking the room's safety, and pulling the curtains closed.

"W-wh" she winced, feeling the pain quickly shoot through her throat and into her head. Ruma brought her hand up, rubbing softly against her trachea.

He held his hand out to stop her from attempting to speak again, "You don't need to try and use words for me. You should know that by now." he slowly walked back over to her side.

Her face twisted up in a grimace but nodded, looking down to the floor.

"May I stay here?" he asked, bringing her eyes back to him with a gentle touch of his calloused hand under her chin. She stared for a moment, completely silent and still. "You can say n-" Ruma interrupted as she reached for his arm and guided him towards the centre of her bed. Curling into a tight ball at his side.

Deon spent the rest of the day after meeting Ruma, lounging around the room. He inspected every inch of it, for cameras, buttons or more control panels hidden in the wall like the one he saw that girl use. While he did find a couple, they were for basic needs and didn't do much else.

He stayed silent through the following days waiting for someone to turn up, though they never did. Deon found himself sleeping what he could away, just to wake up and be silent some more as there was nothing for him to do. Or more so not knowing what he could do. After three days or so of pure boredom and loneliness, he made his way to the door why he hadn't thought of checking it before was a mystery even to himself, he just assumed it was locked.

It wasn't. He could open it with no issue, except it was on the heavy side. He stepped out bewildered and took a look around. The colours of the ceiling, floor and walls all had a similar colour a dark mudded navy blue or off black.

The corridor was massive, looking closer to something out of a mega-mansion that the extremely rich used. Instead of bringing awe, it felt like a horror film with endless doors on either side, and the eerie silence that stretched down to the pitch black on either end. Deon stepped forward carefully, scanning the walls for anything, as he creeped to where he remembered the elevator. The elevator being the only offset colour in the vicinity, a bright steel, the sleek wall to wall door had no gap for him to try and pry open the door, there were no buttons, or keyhole, he didn't even find an area for a key card to be swiped or scanned. He wondered how the machine was used.
