Deon watched as the girl slept. He was trying to not shove her away, as he had so many times before. The bear guy had put into perspective what was actually on the line for him, and that he was being a huge idiot about things. Though he was still fairly certain there was somethings that he didn't want to cross.

It was a couple of hours of him just sitting near her while she slept before he decided to get up and walk around. He openned the door and stepped out, he wondered the halls that he has done several times before, he wasn't expecting to find anything, and he didn't.

He yawned and stretched, as he came back up to his room. He still felt the ack of needing movement in his legs. So he decided to make another trip around.

His head started to fill with memories of his home life. There wasn't much, and not many things that was enjoyable to remember, but he kept getting stuck on this one memory of his sister and him going to a floating waterfall and spending a few hours away from everyone and everything just listening to the sounds of the water.

He longed for that peace and joy again. Though now, he figured he would never see something like that again.

His feet paused as he sighed loudly. Looking over to his left, Ruma's room was left wide open.

Deon wasn't the kind of man to just walts into someone else's room and search through it. But, he mind wondered what all could possibly be in this room of hers.

Now that he was looking at the room, it was decorated to look more like the inside of a tree house or sometype of hut. The vines and things he had seen before was just the extention of those decorations.

He stood there with his arms crossed looking about, thinking of where he should begin, and what he was even trying to look for. When he noticed a small jounrel next to her bed. He picked it up, examining the outside cover. It seemed old, and worn like it was ready to fall apart at the seams.

He flipped over the front cover. On the front their was scribbled in very shaky hand writitng Orkan and Briker, his thumb brushed over the penmenship of the name Briker for a moment before continuing down the page. Seeing two more sets of names, making five more in total.

Zelf, Kimer, Hiera, Tira, and the last one looked less like a name and more as a statement. Lost.

He started to move through the book, at first he though about reading everything, but became more and more focused on the style that the writing had. The first several pages were absolutley horrible penmenship, but the more pages pass the better it got, and towards the end they almost looked like professional caligrapher penmen work.

Deon took a seat at the round table she had just off from the bed. Laying the book out flat so he could read things better, he started back on the second page. It almost was like seeing a two year old scrible on a page and call it writing. He shook his head and started moving foward in the book, trying to decode things as he went.

When he caught a page that held him, it was the words Maeger and Brude, with the names that were on the first page writen over and over, like she was practicing her writing skill, it was clear where it started to get better as she wrote.

So he moved on, wanting to find more. Smells- Fresh Dirt. he wanted to know the meaning to that but nothing else was around it to help him. So he trudged on.

Deon kept on and on, reading different little infomation notes as he went on, until he found himself paused on a particular section. She had a list of names out, with the small letters of B or G next to them as she went. At the end of one particular list, she would have a age and something next to it, some where, Sold, Experiment, died. This was done repeatedly about five or six times. He scrunched up his brow attempting to solve this puzzle, when he read the newest of those lists and a small note was made in the top corner. Animal-kin gaurd. Paid. Then at the bottom, nine months, sold.

A loud slam of a door jarred him as he looked around. Seeing Ruma stomping up to him. She looked pissed, ripping the book from his hand, she hissed and growled at him, walking it back over to her bedside table. She stared at it for a moment, flipping it open to the first page, then over to the page that Deon was on when she walked in, but for slapping it shut again and placing it down.

"Look, I know that was wrong of me, I was just curious." Deon tried to explain what he had done. Ruma pointed to the door without saying anything. Anytime he attempted to say anything else she continued to point, and point.

Deon finally got the message and went to head out. Before he left he stopped at the door and looked back to her, seeing she was still in the same spot she was before.

"Can I ask one question?"

Ruma slowly turned her head to him, looking more like something out of a horror film.

"What were the lists at the back of that book."

With her actual voice, "My childern" her pain was more than just her vocal box this time around. Deon questons stooped and he quickly went away, he had snooped too much.
