Ratok woke in the morning, it had been several weeks since two events played out. One got Ruma's personal affection in return, and the second was finding her other male at the hands of Vassenhilo.

He stretched and thought about the morning he woke up to her in his bed. The passion, the tender moment after, he had asked her, he poured his heart out and for someone like him, he wasn't one to allow himself to feel like that.

'Maeger' he thought to himself. That is what Ruma confirmed, she saw him as a Maeger, though he know he wasn't actually one as he wasn't one of her hyper species, she had let him choose her.

It was from that moment on that she had sheilded herself away from the other animal kin. Not that it bothered him much, it made him incredibly less jealous and on the edge of violence. The only one he'd ever have to share her with would possibly be Deon, and as much as Ratok was aware, Deon wanted nothing to do with Ruma in that manner. Even so, Ratok was one of the few that knew most of the infomation of the trails going on in this compound. So he knew how Ruma worked, her hyper species needed their Brude and Meager and he wasn't about to get in the way, even if the idea of her toying around with Deon nipped at the back of his mind.

A rumbled brought his thoughts back around, as he looked over his shoulder. Ruma was rolling around in her sleep. Something she did often. She was deep in dreams as the tossed about, her blanket moved showing off her bare chest her hair tossed about and some clung to her face in sleep.

Ratok gently moved the strands away. As he did so he noticed her face clench up. A nightmare, those he found out after he frequently started sharing a bed with her was also an almost nightly accurance.

He could only imagine what they were. He didn't know have the extent of what she went through when she was a test subject, but he knew she was one. A few tests he knew that were preformed on a few of the captured humans cause his mind to shake, he waved off the thoughts as he didn't want to imagine her in those situations.

Ruma whined. Twisting again. He leaned back over to lay with her. There was a soft hum of relaxation from her.

"Orkan" her voice strained even in her sleep. Ratok jolted up. Hearing the unformilar name. He felt his heart pain for a moment, trying to reason with what happened. She had a bonded pair before. He tried to remind himself how important those bonds were to her hyper race. How he sat as one of those bonds. It didn't help, it still hurt.

Ratok was slow and careful not to wake her but he got up, dressed, and headed out of her room. Checking by on Deon who was fast asleep but where he was supposed to be before heading down the tower.

There was a storm hanging in over head, as he made his way to the guard tower. Once he got in, he grabbed one of the wireless radios that could fit into his ear.

After turning it on, and before he could put it in his ear he was already hearing things go manic on the line. He listened to it for a moment before hiting the button to talk.

He quickly and sternly growled out orders, and fixed the arguments among the younger 'guards' especially the ones that were just finding out about what actually goes on around here. There was a reason when you signed onto a contract with Vassenhilo you were signed in for several years, that way you couldn't cold feet and run off and tell people about this place.

Ratok walked into the main room, were the snake, cat, and badger were all sitting around waiting for him.

"You got those greenies under control pretty quickly,"

Ratok nodded, "They aren't as hard to handle as you might think."

"As hard as it is to handle Ruma?" the other raised his brow.

Ratok shot a warning look at the Snake, but answer, "No, she is quite easy to handle." he said proudly. Like he had one the first prize. he moved over to the coffee machine and poured himself a large cup and started sipping on it.

Jospeh looked up at him, "So- when are you bringing her back down to share?" he raised his brow.

Ratok didn't even look at Joseph as he answered, "I'm not"

"That is not apart of our agreement with the boss." he hissed.

Ratok, who was still surpisingly calm, "I'll talk to him then, if she hasn't brought herself too you willingly by now, I doubt she is going too. Meaning-" he looked up with a cold killer glare, "Your not touching her ever again."

Joseph back off, muttering something to himself, but without much else to say.

Ratok flipped over to the screen on the wall, looking at the notice board to see if Vassenhilo was to leave them anything to do for the day. Like they expected their was several things to do that day.

With a sigh, he realised he wouldn't be joing Ruma in bed tonight, he would probably just crash at the guard house.

"Alright guys, lets go get this thing start,"
