"Are you sure this is what happened?" Vassenhilo tapped on her electronics pad that had the infomation that she came up with.

She nodded, then grabbed it, showing him her data and notes again. She typed onto the screen, "It is the only thing that makes sense."

Vassenhilo didn't look pleased. "Than I must interrogate all of my workforce here. One of them must be some type of spy." he grumbled.

Ruma pawed at his arm to get his attention back to her, "Ratok is already looking over the everyone's history to see who would most likely be the culprit. Instead of turning everyone against you, wait until he has more information he can give us?"

"Why should I put my faith in him? He could easily be the one that did all this!"

Ruma pushed out her lower lip, and baited her eyes up, with a small whimper.

"No. I will have none of that."

She sniffled a bit and started adding some ahros, sounds with her quivered lower jaw.

"Fine, I will trust him." he stretched his fingers out and stroked his pet. "Now, I would like to see how quickly we can fix this test. What would be a good place to restart. I was thinking quad 64."

Ruma thought about it, "Didn't we just add a few new bloods to 64?"

"Ah yes your right, than." he wrapped his long fingers up over his elongated skull and tapped them. "How about 39?"

Ruma tapped on her pad and pulled up a few notes about quad 39. She nodded.

"Right, I will move extra food in over the course of this next three weeks, than we can cut them off from it-" he pressed on one of his computers, "Day after the next moon cycle. Should be perfect amount of time."

Ruma nodded.

"You can return to your toys." he waved her off.

Ruma growled.

"What is there something the matter? Do you not want to go play with your toys?"

She growled again.

"Toys?"

And yet again, she growled.

"What is the problem girl?" he patted her head, "Do you not like them?" Vassenhilo watched as Ruma typed into her pad yet again instead of signing. Before she finished he "ahhed," as he saw what she was saying.

"I suppose they are like your males aren't they."

Ruma snarled.

"You are becoming quite high maintenance aren't you?"

She sat up pretty and posed, proving his point.

"I guess I can appease you, and actually see them as your maeger and brude. I will expect you to produce offspring more reliably for me then. I am getting more requests than can be filled, since you haven't spawn more than three in the pass thirty years."

Ruma grumbled.

"Hmm." he continued patting her, and stroking how her back with his hand. "I assume that means I should expect a better outcome from these offspring, since you'll have brude to assist you, even if he is just more of a stand in." he started getting lost in his mind again. "Perhaps I should call Bvelpeo-"

Ruma bumped his hand with her head.

"hmm? Oh yes, I still have you here." he lifted his hand and sent her off.

Vassenhilo sat there. He would in fact make that call to his old friend. Maybe even look at the list of requests, start putting bids out for placements. After all he already had a number of offspring she was expecting.

He sat down at his desk, and started planning out his list of todos. When his screen came up, someone had been on the other computer looking at old videos he had in his Ruma file. There was a picture of a young child Ruma sitting on the shoulder of his Uncle.

He stopped stared at it.

Vassenhilo's people weren't known for mouring. So that wasn't what this was, be he was reminiscing on the pass. Ruma was his first to experiment on, it went horribly wrong, and his Uncle was quite furious with him after that.

He was attempting to enhance her vocal range, it ended up taking all of it.

"You use to be quite tiny my pet." he said, clicking off the screen and going on about his work.
