Chapter 5 Truth and Lies

 ~A/N We left of at MCR and Sanity staying at a hotel. Sanity goes in the bathroom and takes a shower. She’s so happy that she completely forgets that she has bruises all over her body. She walks out and sees Frank playing with her puppy. When he sees her he calls for his band mates and they get Brian. Gerard tells Sanity that she has some explaining to do.~

“I think you have some explaining to do” Gerard said.  Ray and Brian sit on one couch while Mikey and Gerard sit on the other. I looked at the floor and began studying the patterns on the carpet. Raven trotted over and yelped at my feet. I lent over and picked her up. She barked happily as I began petting her. 

“Sanity, you need to tell us” Gerard said. I looked at all the couches and saw that everyone was staring at me with concern in their eyes.  I looked at Frank last. Was that a tear in his eyes. I looked down and then back at him and it was gone. I must have imagined it. 

“Who did this to you”? Frank asked me

“Was it those kids from school again” Ray asked 

“Better fucking not be” Frank said angrily. I had to come up with something, fast. I quickly came up with a story in my head. 

“I fell” I said looking at them all in the eye.  They were all silent. 

“That’s a bogus lie and you know it” Frank said angrily, interrupting the silence. 

“No its true, really” I said

“Sanity, you need to tell us the truth, we can help you” Gerard said looking at me in the eye. 

“I don’t think there’s a way to help clumsiness” I said laughing. They didn’t find me humorous 

“Look do you want me to tell you what happened” I asked looking at all of them

“That would be nice, yes” Brian said. 

“I just got Raven and I wanted to take her on a walk. We were walking around until I came across a dog park. The dog park was settled on a steep hill and began to climb. When I got to the top a big dog came at me and jumped on me. I began falling, rolling down the hill. I clutched Raven to my chest to protect her. When I hit the bottom I hurt all over. No one saw me fall so no one came running to help me. I didn’t want to knocked over again so I began walking home. I got lost. It started raining when I came across the theater. I walked to the front and tried to open it, but it was locked. I went around back and saw the door open. Just as I was about to walk through the door I heard voices. I crouched in the shadows by the door and waited for them to come out. When they came out one of the men shut the door. Before the door could fully shut I slid through. I walked around in the building until I came across the room you found me in. I grabbed some meat from the fridge, fed Raven and drank some water. I fell asleep on the couch and you guys  know the rest.”  I took a deep breath.  

They all just stared at me in silence. I spoke up before they could say something. I stood up with Raven and grabbed my Backpack that was leaning against the couch. 

“I should probably get going, my stepfather is probably flipping his shit trying to find me. Thanks for not kicking me out and letting me stay here. It was nice meeting you.” I walked out the door before they could say anything. 

~A/N I’m going to try something new and make it in someone else perspective, I wont do it often most of the time it will be in Sanity’s perspective. ~

~~~Franks Perspective~~

“I should probably get going, my stepfather is probably flipping his shit trying to find me. Thanks for not kicking me out and letting me stay here. It was nice meeting you” Sanity said as she walked out the door. She didn’t even give us a chance to say anything.
