Chapter 23

Chapter 23 Franks POV

I stared down at the wide eyed baby blue eyes with a smile plastered to my face. With all the excitement involving Sanity I completely forgot that my brother and Jamia had a baby on the way. I felt really guilty. 

“He has your nose” I said to Jamia, without looking up. I wasn’t able to take my eyes off of him, he was the cutiest baby ever and he made me an uncle. 

“Yeah, well, it may be too early to tell but I’m certain he’ll have Jake’s eyes and hair.” I looked up and saw Jamia smiling adoringly at my brother and him staring right back at her with a smile on his face. Seeing them reminded me of what Sanity and I had. I really missed her, she was everything to me. I started wondering about what she was doing right now, how she was doing with her therapy. I clenched my teeth at the thought of her finding another guy and that guy taking my rightful place. I started feeling guilty about thinking of her while I held this beautiful baby boy. I shook my head and pushed Sanity out of my thoughs, I shouldn’t be thinking about her right now, this is Jakes time. 

“So what’s his middle name?” 

Jamia and Jake exchanged a look and then looked at me before Jamia finally answered. “Well, that’s where we both disagree, I want his middle name to be Anthony and he wants his middle name to be Spencer, we just cant seem to agree on it” 

“Hmmmm, Alex Michael Iero, Alex Spencer Iero” I thought over the two names, in my opinion they were both pretty bad but I wasn’t going to tell them that. “Uhm, sorry bro, but Alex Michael Iero sounds way better so my vote goes to that one” 

“YES!” Jamia cheered. 

“You suck bro, and by suck I mean really really really suck!” Jake pouted. 

“Oh shut up” I smirked, “Your name sucked and you know it”

“Did not, it was ju….” He was cut off by the nurse walking in. 

“Visiting hours is over, Mrs. Iero and her baby need some rest” She walked over to me and carefully took Alex out of my tattooed arms and carried him over to one of those clear plastic cribs and wheeled him out of the room. 

“I guess that’s our cue to leave, see you tomorrow babes” I watched as Jake leaned down and kissed Jamias head. 

“Bye honey” 

I then walked forward and enveloped her in a hug. It felt extremely awkward because of her laying down and me standing. “See ya later, Jamia, and don’t leave him in a room alone him Alex, he may drop him” 

“Hah, wouldn’t think of it, bye” she hugged me back before I stepped out of the hug and followed Jake out of the room.

Sanity’s POV- 

I thought about the events of last night as I washed my hair in the shower. Andy was nothing what he seems like in school, in fact, he’s a completely different person. I was pretty sure that his arrogant attitude was a façade and that he has something to hide. In fact, him refusing to tell me why he went to counseling pretty much proved that he was hiding something and it was up to me to figure it out.
