Lucy

My lungs were losing air quickly. I kept running for my life, but eventually whoever struck me down knocked me unconscious.

I woke up in a basement like cellar.

Not again.

No.

I tried to unhinge the chains that were attached to my wrist.

"Where am I?" I asked nobody.

"Good question," The voice said. The voice had an electronic voice to mask their real voice. I could barely see anything. I was blindfolded. I tried to understand or at least recognize the voice, but I didn't.

"Why am I here?" I asked frantically. Shivers ran across my entire body, I shuddered at the coldness of the floor.

"Lucy, don't talk. Please," Jayden said. Jayden? What is he doing here. "I can't see anything too." He commented.

"Shut. up!" The voice snickered. "Do both of you want to know the real reason why you're here?"  The voice questioned. I quickly shut my mouth and lowered my head. Everything hurts. I felt my blindfold being torn off my face. It took me a minute to adjust my eyes to the lighting.

I gasped as soon as I saw who it was.

Logan

I fucking knew it, but why?

"Logan?" I whimpered. "Why?" I cried out.

"Because. You have no fucking idea how much it sucked having to listen to you two argue, day and night. You exposed Candace, you exposed Marcus when I specifically told you not to. You ruined my fucking plans." Logan sneered.

"So you brought us here to do what?" I asked in a stern voice.

"It wasn't my idea to do this. I'm simply here to teach my dearest younger sister to stop fucking with people." Logan said.

"If you're not the person threatening us, then who is?" I asked.

"Me!" The said startling me. An old man appeared out of nowhere. I had no idea who he was.

"Dad. Of course it was you, I knew it!" Jayden snapped. "You are a fucking liar, you insane piece of shit." Logan turned his head to me. Jayden's dad held out a gun.

"You ruined our lives, your mothers lives, your brothers lives. You have no remorse for what you have done." Jayden's father said with his voice quivering. Jayden spit on him from far away. "Tie him up harder." Jayden's dad said to Logan. I grabbed his arm and begged my brother to let us go.

"Please, help!" I weep. I was truly terrified of Jayden getting hurt.

"No can do sis-" Logan said. "I told you what would happen if you messed with other people."

"I'm sorry-please don't hurt him! I love him," I said with tears pricking at my eyes.

I hear the door slam open to the basement.

"Hello, father!"

I know that voice. Jalen.

"J-Jalen?"

"It's me father. Let my brother and his girlfriend go." Jalen said in a harsh tone.

"Fine. Let them go. Son, I've been looking for you everywhere." Jayden's dad said. Jalen grabbed his collar.

"I don't give a fuck if you are my biological father or not. You do not fucking treat family this way. I could kill you if I wanted to and I wouldn't feel empathy. You're a sick, twisted psycho who deserves to be locked away." Jalen scowled. That must've hit a spot. Their father held the gun to his own head. "If you do this, there is no forgiveness, no love-nothing." Jalen stated.
