Chapter eighteen: Generations Haunted By Anger

He wouldn't move. 

I can't breathe, my breath get's shaky and I start to cry. He backed away. He noticed my tears and wiped it away with his finger. Okay, that's weird. This has to be a trick, I thought. My breathing finally slows down and I remember where I am. 

I wiped away my tears pushing his hand away from my face, "Don't." my voice croaked. Jayden sighed, I could see his abs through the t-shirt he's wearing. Why does he have to act this way?

"Just go away, Jayden. This is your last chance to just leave me alone before something really bad happens to you." I said. Truthfully, if he didn't back away I was going to show him the video Marcus told me not to. That would hit a nail through him. 

"I'm not leaving." Jayden said. 

"Fine, you asked for it!" I said. I grabbed my phone from my bag and went to my camera roll. I played him the video of his girlfriend fucking coach Todd. Let's see how he reacts. I don't care if it hurts him, I want to see him in more pain than me right now. 

As the video played I could see the veins on Jayden's forehead pop. The moaning from the video is what must've sent him through the roof. He grabbed my neck and pushed me against the wall. 

"I'm done playing nice." Jayden said. He held me in a choke hold for a long time before he let go and stormed out of the bathroom. Oh no, what is he going to do?  

It wasn't time for class yet, so we had time before the bell. I walked out of the bathroom after I covered up my bruises with my handy foundation. I see him in the cafeteria with Skylar, his soon to be ex-girlfriend. I mentally chuckled knowing how this got to him. 

"You're a lying bitch!" Jayden yelled. Skylar froze and the entire cafeteria laid their eyes on Jayden and Skylar. She got up from her seat. Her body was stiff as a kite, and her eyes were wide. It feels good now that she got caught, I mean she set herself up.

I find amuse watching this argument go down. 

Jayden's fist balled, "You fucked coach Todd!?" He screamed. Everyone gasped and took their phones out to record this.  

Skylar remained frozen, "W-what are you t-talking about baby? You know I love you." She stuttered. Skylar could hardly get the words out of her mouth right now. I could see Marcus staring at me with the corner of my eye. He seemed pissed for sure, but I don't care. It's time I start taking action in tearing this group apart. Candace, Kira and Mia looked up from their phones to watch this fight go down. 

"You're a lying, cheating, dirty whore." Jayden said. Skylar ran out of the cafeteria while everyone was chanting WHORE WHORE WHORE WHORE. I was standing near my table trying to get to Karina, but I felt someone grab my arm. 

"Not so fast." Marcus said. 

He pushed me out of the cafeteria, Jayden watched us but he didn't intervene. Marcus dragged me all the way to the parking lot where no one could see us. He pushed me up against his car and grabbed my neck the same way Jayden did. 

"The fuck did I tell you, you stupid bitch!" Marcus yelled and punched the car, not enough to where it would break. 

"What're you gonna do? Kill me in the parking lot of the school?" I chuckled. 

"Don't tempt me!" He said. 

I choked and gagged as he squeezed my neck. 

"Get off of her!" The voice said. 

"Dude I was just-" 

"She's my toy, not yours." Jayden said cutting Marcus off. Jayden gave Marcus a stare as he was analyzing this situation. 

"You knew didn't you?" Jayden said. 

"I was trying to protect you-" 

"I don't need protecting. You could have been honest with me from the start, but no. Now I have to lose two people I cared about." Jayden said. He groaned, "Just go." He said pointing towards the school. Marcus did as he was told. 

Jayden didn't keep his eyes off of me though, he dragged me by my arm to his car. He forced me to go inside. He climbed in the backseat with me. As soon as he did he forced me to lay down and then he crawled on top of me. 

"No!" I screamed. 

"This is what you get. You thought you could get away with this?" He said. He put his hands under my shirt and suddenly I was back in that horrible house.  

"Please, not again." I said, while crying. Instantly my flashbacks were brought on by stress. I started to scream "Tyler get off of me!" Over and over. I felt the pain I felt when I was drunk that night. I felt like I had to throw up. 

"Woah, what the hell?" Jayden said.

"Tyler, get away!" I screamed again kicking and punching whoever was near me. I suddenly forgot the time and where I was.  

"But, I'm not Tyler." The voice said. I didn't realize how long I'd been wailing and screaming but by the time I realized where I was I suddenly remembered who I was with. Jayden looked at me with fearful eyes. 

"What happened to you?" Jayden asked. Oh, now he was concerned? He wasn't just a few minutes ago. I didn't speak, I couldn't. 

"What happened?" I asked finally breaking the tension. 

"Who is Tyler?" Jayden asked. If I remember, he read my diary. In my diary I keep secret names for everyone incase anyone ever did have access to my diaries. Was this my chance to be open with Jayden and form a connection? 

"My ex-boyfriend." I replied, my emotions were sort of flipped so it made me sound like I did not care about anything. 

"What did he do to you?" 

"Hurt me like you do." I said, shaking rocking back and forth. Jayden put his hands over mine and I flinched. He wrapped me in his arms, I got to admit I did feel some sort of comfort from this. God, I shouldn't though. 

"I'm sorry." Jayden said. Was he just admitting that he was sorry for his actions? Where did this sudden apology come from? Somewhere in that cold heart, maybe he does have one. 

"Why do you do the things you do?" I asked. My question caught him off guard as he breathed in deeply and looked up. 

"I don't know, I just do." He said, this is not the answer I was looking for. 

I sighed, "I think that you do the things you do because you've been hurt or someone has done something to you. Or... you might just find the pleasure in hurting others because you're twisted." I exclaimed. 

"Maybe." Jayden said. What is with him? He was just showing me a side of him that I've never seen before.

"I will get the truth from you, Jayden. One way or another." I say.
