Sev's POV

"Why aren't you hanging with us for lunch?" Sarai questions.

"Yeah who's lap am I gonna sit on?" Bria pouts.

"You, mind your business" I point to Sarai, "and you, stop being a needy bitch" I scoff walking past them.

By the time I get to my car I see Billie coming towards me, I unlock the door and she hops in slamming my door.

"Careful with my damn door!"

"Sorry, why did you want me to be with you during lunch?" She asks softly.

Without thinking I tuck her teal hair behind her ear before placing my hand under her chin examining her still red cheek from when Bria slapped her.

"Does it hurt?" The words fall out of my mouth without permission.

"A l-little" she whispers.

My hand drops and I clear my throat before starting the car and pulling out of the lot.

"Where are we going?" She asks.

"Just shut up and enjoy the ride" I snap back.

"Okay" she mumbles.

The sound of her hushed voice shoots a weird feeling in my chest. I place my hand on her thigh, "I'm craving taco bell.. plus I owe you. You didn't eat before you left my house."

From the corner of my eye I see her nod slightly. We go through the drive-thru, I pay for the food and park in the lot.

"I can't believe you eat burritos with just beans and nothing else" I chuckle handing her the 5 burritos she made me pay for.

"Don't knock it til you try it," she unwraps one of them, "want a bite?" She giggles and I catch myself to stop from smiling.

"Hell no, I'm fine with my fully loaded burrito thank you very much" I say before taking a bite of mine.

We eat in blissful silence, it actually feels nice. I check the time and we're late for our next class.

"We're late" I shake my head buckling my seatbelt.

I sip my Baja Blast while we I drive back to the school. A loud ass burp comes from Billie and I almost choke on my drink laughing.

"Damn that shit stinks" I laugh.

"Sorry" she giggles.

Once we're back at school, we head to class and of course I get scolded for being late but I really don't give a shit.

"Yo Sev!" I hear Xavier's loud ass.

The others closely behind him, they all surround my locker. I dap up the guys and say my hellos to the girls.

"We all going to Noah's place, you coming?" Kayla says putting her arm around my neck.

"As long as I'm not the one supplying weed I'm there" I say.

"Nah it's my turn to supply the fun" Noah chuckles.

"Alright I'll-" A pair of blue eyes catches my attention.

She smiles softly and on instinct I roll my eyes, "I'll see meet you guys there. I'll pick up some snack text me what ya'll want."

I push Billie out of my way as I head towards the nearest exit.

Billie's POV

My heart jumps a little when Sev and I make eye contact, but the feeling fades when she rolls her eyes and then pushes past me. She was so nice to me earlier and now it's right back to being a bitch.

I feel an arm wrap around me neck, "damn Zoe to scared the shit out of me" I sigh.

"Sorry, wanna come to my place? The others are coming."

"Sure why not, is it okay if I ride with you? I don't have a car yet" I laugh awkwardly.

"Of course!" She cheers.
