I did not mean to be rude but her touching me really threw me off.
"How about you take that nap you've been dying to take" I suggest.
"That's okay, I have no guarantee you won't try to smother me in my sleep" she laughs.
"I would never- I won't I promise" I say.
She hesitates but gets comfortable on my bed with her feet hanging off the edge, I pull her sneakers off and push her further onto the bed. She giggles a little, I sit next to her with my back resting against the headboard. My phone has been blowing up with messages from Drew and of course, Bria. I respond to Drew first.

I'm fuming at this point but when I look to my right and see Billie sleeping so peacefully I calm down immediately. I have this strange feeling in my chest that I haven't felt since- well it doesn't matter I just feel weird.
Soft snores leave her plump pouty lips, she's honestly so beautiful. I catch myself gently playing with her hair, brushing the teal strands off her face. Her face contorts a little so I pull my hand away but she scoots closer to me snuggling into my side.
Some time goes by as I watch Youtube videos while Billie slept, I check the time and laugh. Damn it's almost 3 o'clock. I look at down at Billie and sigh, I really don't wanna wake her up just to tell her we aren't going back to school. But I have to or she'll probably freak out.
"Billie.. Billie" I shake her lightly, she stretches her arms and legs as her eyes flutter open. I fight back a big toothy smile.
"Hmmm?" She whines rubbing the sleep from her eyes.
"So don't be mad but it's almost 3" I wince hoping she'll remain calm.
"What?!!" So much for staying calm. "Sev what the hell? Why didn't you wake me up?!" She sits up scowling at me.
"I didn't realize what time it was" I bite back, "fucking relax. Be fucking glad I woke you up to tell you."
"If my parents find out I skipped I'll get grounded" she sighs.
"So get the fuck outta my house then" I deadpan.
"Wow. I-" her voice trembling a bit, she slips on her shoes, grabs her bag and storms out.
