BIANCA

"Take a risk or you'll gonna wait for the cold body of your brother. Choose, Bianca."

"Harsh right? Life's full of sufferings and jeopardy. But if you're confident enough to face all of those trials then you would celebrate the victory of life isn't it?"

Her live in partner left her too without saying anything. At doon kami sobrang naghirap. Dalawa kaming tinataguyod ng nanay namin habang wala siyang permanenteng trabaho. Life is unfair, I can say. Pero ngayon, our mother left us also. She was diagnosed of breast cancer and failed to took a therapy because of poverty. She's now dead. I won't. Never.

"What I'm gonna do?" I asked after I swallowed my dignity--not literal though.

From where I'm standing, I can smell the aroma of black coffee together with cigarette. He suddenly sip at the mug and puffed a smoke after a minute.

I'll just give you few reminders."

"First, always be careful with your move.

He looks creepy with those dirty braces and tattoos all over his neck. I shook my head mentally. I need to focus.

Pera."

Napahawak ako ng mahigpit sa pantalon ko. Sweats are already visible in my forehead and neck, in my arms as well.

"And last, don't ever tell this to anyone. Even your closest friend or family."

I nodded. "I wish I have one. Don't worry, I won't forget all those things."

"Now we're good. Give me your contact details and be here immediately if I call you."
