When David woke for the night he stretched and looked at his sleeping brothers.

"Wake up, we have to feed before we head out tonight." He shoved Marko lightly and dusted off his coat.

"Come on David.." Even tho Marko loved to hunt he was always the grumpiest waking up. Rubbing his eyes with a whine "Five more minutes dude seriously."

The only thing Paul could do was laugh and fluff out his matted hair.

" Really Marko, you say that every time then you always complain your still hungry." Paul shook his brother far more wild than David.

"Fine I'm up.." he paused with a smirk "but I call first dibs on the bathroom!" With that exclaim Paul's eyes went wide.

"Oh no you fucking don't!" the two youngest of the group then began you a mad dash to the bathroom pushing and shoving all the way into the back of the cave.  David looked on with a watchful eye making sure neither of the two idiots smashed anything or destroyed their home.

"And what about you, are you getting up." David looked over at his stoic second in command.

With one raised eyebrow and not a single word Dwayne jumped down, and started pulling on his jacket slowly.

"Just waited for you to get rid of  Marko and Paul. They are to much for me when I just wake up." Dwayne walked over to David and ruffled his hair.

This was "life" for the boys. Waking up each night and only thinking about 2 things. The first was each other. David may not say it often if ever, but he loved them, and cared for them as he thought a brother should. They had all been together so long that they where all able to read each other with ease. It takes hundred of years to form bound of this level in any group.

The second thing they thought of, was hunger. When they woke up to find everyone okay and safe the boys could feeling the aching burn in the bottle of their stomachs would start to sink in. An intense need in the hollow part of them would rise. The boys did everything they could to keep that inhuman part of themselves hidden. They did everything they could to feel human.

After getting ready they boys began to head out planning on their hunt. Paul let out a few laughs pushing Marko up the stairs. The two always seemed to be messing with each other in some way. David often thought of them as a pair of twins with how close they were.

What are we hungry for tonight boys?

David preferred talking through the link he had with the boys. He found it easier to keep his eyes out when he wasn't actually talking.

With a deep laugh Paul walked along the end of the beach seeing All the usual suspects.  A garish group of Surf Nazis dancing around a fire beer cans littering the beach.

I don't know about you boys but in feeling surf and turf right about now!

That was all it took for the hunt to be on. David and the boys stalked forward faces contorted deeply with the nightmarish truth behind their feature showing. Paul took off to Davids left and Marko to his right. As always Dwayne stayed behind David, watching his leaders back. The Surf Nazis were none the wiser as the group closed in. Paul was the first to launch himself on on of the drunk dancing men, baring his fangs and ripping into his flesh, the pulling and tearing of veins sent blood everywhere. Before screams could even echo in the night David and the boys grabbed the remaining members.

Time to dig in.

A dull ripping began to fill the night instead of screams. Paul began to pull and a deafening crack sounds dismembering the older man he had grabbed a hold of pool the blood into his mouth. David clawed his meal peeling the flesh back like a fruits and digging into the pit. Dwayne in one swift move pulled the heart from his victim before he began to savour it.

None of the boys enjoyed the act of killing but they enjoyed the taste of their food and the ease it brought them, it made them each feel more like themselves, more in control. Guilt wasn't going to keep them alive or make the blood wash off of there hands. As time went on it got easier and easier and humans just became food.

Each shared a look as they threw the bloodies of the side of the Hudson Bluff. Sorrow, after each of them feed a small pang of sorrow could be felt throughout each of them, but even with the guilt they wouldn't give up this incredible life for anything.

" Let's go boys, time to hit the town." David spoke softly as he rubbed Marko's back softly, he was the youngest so it was hardest for him.

Revving their bikes up a playful smile found its way on each others faces, they knew tonight was going to be a good night. The ride to the boardwalk was short but exactly what the boys needed to perk themselves up. Marko and Paul ran off in the direction of a group of girls no doubt to flirt. Dwayne found his way to his favourite spot just washing the waves crash against the beach listening to the families have fun and thinking about what he like out of his life. David would stroll through his favourite record store humming as he watched people come and go running his hands along the records.

Every night the boys would ride one ride together to end the night. On tonight's rotation it was the merry go round, a personal favourite of David. He didn't know if it was the lights or the soft music but something about it bought him back to his younger years. Of course they never payed for these rides so the group developed an interesting reputation.

"Hello beautiful..." Paul spoke with a wink to a blonde, not noticing her very large boyfriend begin to get upset as she giggled.

Before David was even aware a fight had broken out between some Surf Nazis and his boys.  David was stuck staring up at the sky. The moon was huge and beautiful but even more breathe taking was the woman sat atop the Ferris Wheel. Her Round figure radiating a wonderful purple light. He was taken aback by the innocents of her smile, how genuine all her emotions felt radiating off of her. Before he could act he was drawn back to the real world but the sound of a punch being thrown.

Turning fast he nodded to Dwayne to handle it making sure not to hurt anyone who was unlucky enough to be in the middle of it. Raising his hand to defend his brother, he was stopped dead in his tracks.

"I thought I told you boys to get off the boardwalk?" the large cop grabbed Davids hand causing him to smirk as he pulled his hand free.

David nodded to the boys as they all began to smile and smirk making their way off the ride.

"You punks, off the boardwalk off starting the fight." David let out a laugh hearing the cop give the same speech over again.

His mind was drawn back to the beautiful Ferris wheel girl. He wasn't the one normally interested in getting to know his food, that was a mistake only the young made. Looking back up to the wheel while walking he found himself feeling ....someway, that she was no longer there.

Maybe he would see the purple lady another night, he could only hope. The Hunt to know more about her began, without saying anything the boys could feel a shift in the energy .
